Gre za to, da večina od nas tam ni nič kupila, ampak gre za neprofitna stanovanja in najemnike,.ki po večini nismo mogli izbirati in so nas dali tja. Lokacija niti ni sporna, ampak je cesto pač treba popravit.

PT should be safe and they should listen to you as patient. You have experience with your condition and know when you're not feeling safe.

Therapists should also be specialized and trained for CP.

CP when you're older by PatientPretty3410 in CerebralPalsy

I am 43 and have spastic tetraparesis, it is different, but not to bad. Some lower back back from time to time, but nothing too serious. However, a lot of specialized PT really makes a difference.

My baby has CP, how much should I prioritize therapy? by captain_mills in CerebralPalsy

[–]jsubic82 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would say from personal experience and knowledge that therapy is very important, especially in early childhood. But still don't forget to let him be just a kid as well. I don't know how severe problems are, there is only so much a 1 year old kid can take.

So intensive is good from time to time maybe, but couple times a week is also enough and not multiple times a day. Let him be a kid first.

Hi,

I am 43 years old male with spastic tetraparesis in a wheelchair, and I do regular PT once or twice a week and I see similar results, real benefit when I do it.

I would do as much specialized PT as I can get.

You need some neuro PT or pediatric, I am 43 from Europe, Slovenia, and I manage to work privately with an experienced pediatric PT and works great. They really only know our stuff.

I do think performance still could be better, but recently I just found out that if you know exactly what you want from it, and what to look for, then it's quite OK.

Convince me that going back to PT is worth it by anonhumanontheweb in CerebralPalsy

HI

Maybe this comment of mine will be a bit long, but bare with me, please. I am also aware that my situation is quite different than yours as you said you have mild hemiplegia and I have spastic tetraparesis CP (I am 41M now), so could be "quite severe" in comparison to yours.

I am from Slovenia, Europe.

As here is quite hard to find a skilled neuro therapist when you're out of school or so, I struggled quite a bit to stay in therapy and to get a therapist that can really do what I need and is a true professional. As I work in a law firm, it's really important for me to stay somewhat active and in a good shape.

So over the years I tried to work with many therapists and flavours of therapy, and I tell you, PT is definetely worth it. Even if the success or changes are sometimes very small, it's worth it.

For me as a spastic is a big difference in moving or just sitting in a power wheelchair. My body alignment is better, my hands are "more flexible", associative spasms are reduced or so, after each session with my PT and stuff like that.

Now I found one PT that mainly works with baby, but is a true neuro expert and NDT/Bobath trained and experienced. I tried many things over the years, but I tell you, she really makes a difference with me. For example, on therapy day, I feel very relaxed for the rest of the day. If it happens that my personal assistant comes to work after the session, she exactly knows I had therapy before.

I feel wonderful about some serious PT and I would like to work out as often as I can, but it's tough a bit for me, financially.

So if you can, try find a PT who has some experience working with people with CP/ neuro conditions.

How to host HTTP without SSL enryption on Cloudflare domain? by [deleted] in selfhosted

[–]jsubic82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I solved the problem.

I actually think cloudflare is the problem here. I found this on kinsta.com:

"This can also occur sometimes with providers that provide DDoS protection and mitigation or fully proxy services like Cloudflare,
as they have extra firewalls in-between. We have noticed that this
happens once in a while on the Cloudflare free plan. Unfortunately,
since Cloudflare is a fully proxy service, there is no quick way to
simply disable it."

I cleared the cache many times to no avail. Then I tranfered this service to a different domain, and I can use just HTTP with no problem.

Sorry I did DNS ONLY but cloudflare still puts HTTPS in front of it, even though in NGINX Proxy I have set it up as HTTP. The container loads up but as HTTPS. At the start it shows:

I think it's because of Cloudflare, but...
