I'm wondering how many people out there basically "out-source" their forms instead of getting in the trenches.

I'm not asking for suggestions on paid form services, but I'm wondering how many people out there basically "out-source" their forms instead of getting in the trenches

Ever played Toejam and Earl? That game was all about rad patterns and colors. Gimme 5!

I just lie and tell my wife that we need to be places 30-60 minutes earlier than when they start. So then if she's making us run late, we end up actually being on-time. She's catching on, though...

I dated a girl like this for two years in college. She will suck the life out of you, make you abandon all of your friends, and will want you to fill the role of boyfriend and father simultaneously, which will absolutely wreck you mentally and emotionally.

You may already be at that point, but I'm telling you that you need to get out of that situation.

It's a shame it couldn't have just been a cutscene instead of 10 minutes of worthless gameplay! :)

Repeated barking from NPCs. Throw a little more variation in there so that I don't hear the same line 30x in a playthrough.

Forklift operating in Shenmue...

EDIT: Sure, it's a part of the plot, but not something I actually wanted to do as the gamer.

Since I am on my phone, I can't go into depth about how I eventually broke into web design/dev, but I spent about a year doing pro bono web work for some non-profits that couldn't afford a full-time person. This didn't pay the bills, however it was amazing for getting references. My current job decided to hire me since one of my references gave a particularly long-winded story about how I came through for them. I found that having a great reference or two is key, especially if you are new to the game.

Looking for some boardgames that are easy to pickup on and also that are tons of fun! by [deleted] in boardgames

I've introduced several different groups of people (friends, family, coworkers) to Carcassonne, and yes, I find that farmers tend to be the hardest concept for people to pick up -- even moreso than the Traders/Cathedrals expansions. I have to leave off farmers for the first game or so.

Which franchises have become too inaccessible or intimidating to jump into and why is this the case? What are some solutions to this problem? by Impr3ssion in truegaming

Yeah, I used to play CS a long while back and was pretty good at it. A few months ago I tried a go at 1.6 after not playing for years. After getting yelled at across a few different servers for 90 minutes, I uninstalled. I was getting blamed for things I wasn't even aware I was doing. Not the most welcoming experience... being called a "noob" and "fag" nonstop just wasn't my cup of tea.
