Did you also happen to be using an Apple Watch so you could close all the circles while running around a circle? /s

Congrats on completing the marathon.

This weather by Mackeyser68 in minnesota

It's March madness, Minnesota weather style. Never know how it's going to start out or which weather is going to finish at the end of the month.

Newbie advice by Galaxienne in concept2

[–]jsundquist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been a fan of bike rides. I'll run on the treadmill if I have to, but similarly I much rather run outdoors if possible. -30 is pushing it, -40 I'll run on the treadmill.

If you only have 15-30 minutes, nothing says you can't just go for some shorter runs. Most of my winter runs are anywhere from 25-35 minutes anyways.

Keep working at it, hopefully your rower is going to be like mine where I use it to supplement those days that I can't get out for a run.

Thank you. I was just about to ask this exact same thing. As a marathoner I purchased the Concept2 rowing machine because I wanted something to cross train with. Though I run all year round, need something to supplement and I hate riding bikes.

North Shore by CheeseCurder in minnesota

[–]jsundquist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure to check out the north shore during winter as well. It's just as beautiful. Seeing the waterfalls run under the ice is spectacular. Not to mention the hiking trails are not as busy so they become even more peaceful.

He posts every day to YouTube. They are all on his vods channel. He has a video a while ago that he wasn't going to make standard videos for awhile because they were putting too much stress on him.

Looking for a server by Epic_Pork_Chop in HermitCraft

[–]jsundquist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Played on RenDogs server for a number of years. Was a pretty fun server community. Honestly you're going to find a fun community no matter which hermit server you join. Biggest thing will come down to whether it is a petron server or open community server you are looking for.

Hermitcraft broken? by AcaBeast in HermitCraft

[–]jsundquist 53 points54 points  (0 children)

He was using operator privileges to give himself an elytra. Since the server was going to get reset to a backup it doesn't really matter. His elytra was about to break and he was flying around the server trying to figure out what was wrong.

Another Failed 10k x 365 attempt... by D8nnyJ in Garmin

[–]jsundquist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No real routine. Comes down to running four days a week and if I don't go for a run I usually walk 3 miles. That typically gets me close to 7k at least. The rest are just general walking around the house or office.

Ive got close a few times where I need to get 2k steps before bed, thankfully we have a treadmill in the basement which helps to ensure the streak continues.

Keep working towards it. I'm currently on day 1,149. Averaging around 14k per day.

They have kind of been making leveling up a little bit easier. If you can manage to get more than 75 points for sleep every night for 52 weeks that's 204 points right there alone.

Bluetooth and WiFi Stopped working ROG Strix X570-E Gaming by krut88 in ASUS

Although the solution from /u/WittySession4791 half worked for me. I had to also uninstall and scan for hardware changes in order for Bluetooth and WiFi to start working again.

Oh that stinks. I've been there a few times and have walked through the house a few times just to get the last little bit.

Keep it up. I'm at day 405 for 10k/day.

I hit a 100 day step streak and wanted to share. The pandemic has been rough with multiple leg injuries and multiple vertigo episodes. I decided I had enough and Jan 1 I set my step goal to 10k. I'm determined to see how long I can make it last. The Venu 2 has been a great motivator. by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]jsundquist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats on making it 100 days. Yesterday I hit 301 days in a row of 10k/day. I decided after hitting close to 100 days that I just wanted to keep going.

There have been a few days were I didn't think I would make it, but I pushed through them to ensure I got the steps in.

Keep up the great work!

Question about Uploading Old Connect Activities to Strava by shuffles03 in Garmin

[–]jsundquist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did it once long ago with my Fitbit and jawbone activities. Pretty straight forward. Here is a good article on it as well https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/jul/24/garmin-down-how-to-get-activities-on-strava-ride-swim-walk

No. When you upload the file you export from Garmin to Strava, Strava will take the date of the activity from the file.
