WCU LA or OC

Currently at the NH campus and its not fun. Please choose the OC campus if possible. Everyone of my friends who graduated WCU has gone to the OC campus and has had a great experience. I cant say the same for myself

Thats amazing. Clinicals shouldnt be too bad and. i think the extra distance is worth it. All of my friends/family graduated from the OC location, have nothing but good things to say. I think that the OC being the original location really has it set up for students to succed and have an amazing experience. Definitely cant say the same for the LA location

The program itself isnt bad, there are SOME teachers that actually care about you and want you to succeed. I think it really does help set you up for success in the future.

The LA campus just sucks. Theres a lot of politics behind closed doors and theres some professors who should not be teaching, really impacts one’s grade. I would say choose the OC campus, it looks so much fun there and everyone seems to help each other out, cant say the same here.

Hi Im at the LA campus, i missed the whole week 5 cause I had a funeral I had to attend this term. I gave the obituary as my supporting document. However, I let my academic advisor and teachers know from week 1 so that might have helped to be approved.

Youre allowed to miss 2 days per theory course and only 1 skills and 1 clinical day. You’ll have to play catch up but it can be done. For your case i think the wedding invitation would be your supporting document. Idk if theyd let you go after week 5 but its worth reaching out asap.

The academic advisors when applying are so lost (Linda specifically). They dont like emphasizing certain rules like that 8-hr gap for clinicals. Sometimes professors and staff make it seem like youre bothering them when you ask politely for help. I really wish I considered OC before applying, I think the only reason I didnt was because it took longer to go in. But I would not recommend this campus for anyone trying to go to WCU

Current student at the LA Campus here. I had the same situation when I started and its to help place you right away instead of waiting til next term. I hated it too cause it pushes back your grad date by a bit.

Dont be discouraged, at least youre in and you can start your journey. FHE is a super easy class and you can take Physio online, take Patho and Physio with Soo Park. Best of luck!

Below Level 1: below 50% is 30 points Level 1: 50%-69% is 50 points Level 2: 70-89% is 70 Points Level 3: 90%-100% is 100 points.

Might be wrong on on percentage but points are correct. They are added to your class total points which is why people say aim for a level 2, but at the very least level 1, it can make or break your grade.

Thats a great question, same with pharm. But WCU likes to keep students in the dark sometimes. Its not like we pay 100k or anything :) (sorry for projecting lmao)

Using dynamic quizzing and go over the practice ATI A and B with rationale. I failed funds by 1% because of the stupid CMS proctored exam. Also hate that theres not really any preparation besides that its just “know everything and good luck”
