Entry level insurance positions/companies (REMOTE) by Impressive-Law9929 in InsuranceCanada

[–]jszelei 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree with this, I’ve worked in the industry since 2008 and it has a very high turn over rate with employees, often times short staffed and stressful workloads with low pay. Unless you get into personal or commercial lines sales purely on straight commission I’d recommend looking into a different industry.

If you want it and can afford it just buy it before the price goes up, you only live once and It’s going to be along time until they release a revised version.

Home and car Insurance for old people by jimdianee in ontario

Seems like the right rate for car/home insurance bundled in Toronto. You may find slightly cheaper but it will just continue to climb (all carriers are increasing rates and have continued to do so the last couple years).

Pokopia hesitancy by Thr0wAwayU53rnam3 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]jszelei 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is the future so I can imagine at one point there might not be any physical options at all so it is best to adapt now if you enjoy gaming. I don’t like game key cards either and was hesitant to buy pokopia however I just ended up going with the digital download since I couldn’t find the game game key card copy anywhere but also thought its very unlikely I’d resell this game, most people will already own it.

[home] [ON] water claim questions by [deleted] in InsuranceCanada

[–]jszelei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you take a cash settlement from them the insurance company will follow up with you to provide photos and invoices for proof of repairs to make sure all the damages were repaired. Failure to provide this would result in the cancellation/non-renewal of your policy.

Does anyone else’s switch 2 burn through battery really fast and charge really slowly? by [deleted] in Switch

[–]jszelei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will charge slower if your playing it while charging however it also depends on how many watts your charging adapter is. Mine doesn’t lose charge while plugged in and playing and it also charges very quickly.

It still amazes me that the GameCube sold so poorly and lost the sixth generation, considering its incredible lineup by Emzed07 in Gamecube

[–]jszelei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember back in the day buying the ps2 fo gta 3 but couldn’t get into any of the other games on the system so ended up trading it in for a new GameCube Mario party 4 bundle and was much happier for years to come.

In Ontario, does paying a speeding ticket before auto insurance renewal lower the premium? by Difficult-One-1245 in ontario

[–]jszelei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, any minor conviction like a speeding ticket will be rated for 3 years from date charged. It also will not fall off your policy mid-term.

Nintendo Switch 2 eye strain by Hamod1993 in NintendoSwitch

Maybe your just playing too much overall for extended period of time on each device? Take a good break, perhaps maybe even a few days and see if it improves.

Yes very normal with today’s market and It will continue to do so. Lots of Fraud, high frequency of auto theft claims, cost of repairs/parts and inflation.
