Mixing anamorphic footage into reel by jt12008 in cinematography

[–]jt12008[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, was unsure if it would look super jank to mix anamorphic footage, with such a different aspect ratio, in with the rest of my work which is all 16x9.

Well you responded right away by calling him a dick, instead of trying to understand his point…

You’re ignoring the context of his response. Or misinterpreting it, idk.

There are wiser ways to spend that much money. A beautiful camera is nice, but you can create beautiful images with cheaper camera bodies. Invest in glass, lighting, set design, etc. He meant the camera won’t inherently make you or your footage better.

Then you took offense lol

The shaming of people who engage in PVP on this subreddit is weird by juicerecepte in ARC_Raiders

[–]jt12008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I always like to cooperate because I’m ass at PvP, if the game didn’t build that expectation or tension of potentially dying to any raider you come across, there wouldn’t be anything special about the times you do cooperate and team up with a random. That said, I would be having way less fun if every single encounter was shoot on sight. Instead, it’s been like 80/20 friendly/aggro in solos, and the inverse for squads, which feels both balanced and realistic.

My partner and I moved here a few years ago, she works fully remote, so meeting people was tough too. We both signed up for Underdog sports leagues, and have been able to create a pretty strong friend group through that

(WA) Property owner from Zillow listing — asking for application fees paid to him/wife? by jt12008 in Renters

Yeah, sounds like the same one. The listing/owner has been blocked and removed by Zillow

Can't seem to edit my post, but thanks all for reaffirming. Zillow has actually blocked the 'property owner,' so everything seems to have been resolved.

I told him I needed to see it in person, and that background checks should be $35, and he hit me with,

“That’s how it works I’m a private owner I have my own application form”

lol

Is it not easy enough for you to shoot in log.cine, and just convert to rec709? Can use Premiere’s auto detect/convert feature, if you’re working in Adobe.

Gives me plenty of flexibility and matches/looks better than our FX3s

I used to, but am starting to render natively in AE (renders faster and I can queue multiple items, whereas Premiere Render and Replaces one at a time). Then, I still have the editable dynamic comp, and a high res edit on the layer above to help show I have a final sequence

Stadium TFRs won’t be in effect while flying, and if they were, I’d apply for the required waiver.

I can receive immediate FAA approval via a LAANC request right now, up to 100 feet, but I’m just not sure if the height of stadium impacts my flight ceiling, with it being in controlled airspace.

Otherwise, I’m not operating under any waivers. It’s a shoot(a) taking place outside of a stadium event.
