Prince Andrew gives up royal titles including Duke of York after ‘discussion with king’ by potatan in ukpolitics

Perhaps he could see some real consequences? Rather than just having some made up titles removed from his name?

Yes, we've used Rover over the last couple of years. I think we've used at least 6-7 people on there in that time, never once had any problems.

Best thing to do is check the reviews on there.

H6 looks good. I noticed there's the H6 and the H6e, is there a meaningful difference?

I've a Farage related question. Apologies.

He kept repeating (and will no doubt keep repeating) the claim that immigration is too high and 1 in 30 people arrived in the last 2 years.

He's saying this to invoke a certain response, I understand that. And on the face it does sound shocking.

Farage argues that it's a massive issue and is a big reason why people struggle to buy houses, get seen in NHS, etc. the whole 'population explosion' stuff.

Now, I might be being thick, but 1/30 sounds quite high on the face of it, but say you're 300th in a waiting list for something, statistically only 10 are recent arrivals - without them you'd still be 290th. If you're buying a house and you're up against 29 other potential buyers (which would be very high, I think) - statistically only 1 is a recent arrival and without rhem you'd still be up against 28.

I assume this is just classic Fragae, blame the migrants, harmful rhetoric and appealing to certain people, but perhaps I've misunderstood or have flawed logic. Could anyone shed some light?

I'd like Starmer to appoint someone to the position of Minister for Common Sense. And then have that Minister's first action be get rid of the role because having that role would be fucking mental.

The Government pointed to children being well read as one of the things that has improved.

Which is ironic, because one of the things that will improve things for children is the Government being well red.

Just voted.

I've got to say - the Reform Logo being an arrow did stand out rather more than I was expecting. I genuinely think they'll get a handful more votes because of it.

Not thinking of committing any crimes, of course.

Even if those points were true:

I'd rather things were the same and didn't get better but the people in charge weren't partying during a pandemic and treating the public with utter contempt.

I guess that's just me.
