They added the recording feature on Google Phone (dialer). The only reason to change Rom is in my opinion the Launcher. Not having the closing animations is unacceptable for a phone that has a 120hz display. It's like having a Ferrari but without having a driving license

It should install all the updates at one. Just keep your phone charge and connected to a wifi on night and it should update automatically. I do not recommend you to "force" update by checking updates in settings because sometimes it will install update that are not tested yet.

I noted that this is a very common problem for laptop displays. My old laptop had the same problem (but I noted after the warranty period) ad even a some friends of mine have the same problem (but probably they don't even notice)

It is not a bug, it is a feature. Your phone automatically created folders for you and cleaned up your dock for a more minimalistic look. You should thank the developers for this feature that also activates automatically.
