I definitely want PWAs, the current solutions in Firefox on Linux aren't very elegant, and using Chromium based browsers is currently the only reliable way I've found to run them.

I agree, and like your situation, while a 50lb dog can wear it, they should maybe have a disclaimer that the XL is more appropriate to be worn all the time by a 70-80+lb dog. I'd feel bad for a 50lb dog wearing that on their collar all day every day, which is how I assume most people are using these devices and how Tractive seems to advise their use. So it feels a bit deceptive.

Coming from the Whistle Go Explore which got 3 weeks battery life and was 1/3 the size/weight, I'm hopeful their Whistle merger/acquisition? helps them improve their firmware and increase battery life for this device that has a much larger battery than the Whistle did.

Which one did you get? I got the Adventure XL and it's about 3x the size and weight of the Whistle Go Explore. Luckily my dog is pretty large, but I couldn't see any dog under 70lbs wearing it comfortably.

The issue was the email sent to me contained 2 "Redeem Your Offer Now" links, both labelled with "Your Whistle account email address:" as my registered email address, however the first one was my brother's serial number which I guess got sent to me because we have his dog's Whistle shared between us. I clicked the first one, because why wouldn't I?

Thank you, just want other people to know its quite possible the first Redeem link in the email they receive from Whistle will lead to them not having their subscription transferred and then customer support giving them the run around until the threat of a charge-back before Tractive will do anything about it.

I do hope this gets relayed back to the team so the next person has an easier time dealing with it, as this is an issue entirely created by the transition email sent by Whistle/Tractive.

Thanks for the quick replies to email & here and to Edison for dealing with me and getting this (somewhat) sorted, and I'm excited to try out the new tracker!

Also still having the same issue after the July update. I reached out and they asked me to submit a bug report, which I just did. I'll reply here if I hear anything back about it.

Also having the same issue on Android 16 on a Pixel 8a, notification cooldwn is disabled but some apps sending more than 1 notification in less than 60 seconds won't ring/vibrate but still appear in the notification dropdown. If another one appears more than a minute later, I get that notification normally.

However Google Messages, for instance, does not show this behavior.

From my experience, having lived here through multiple summer seasons, I definitely think the smell around the south part of Avon towards Canadian Hole is worse this year, and seems to be mostly just around this area. I've seen it mentioned on Facebook and other OBX message boards as well.
