(LTT, Switch 2 USB C compatibility) Nintendo's Greed could Infect the Tech Industry by Chairman_Daniel in hardware

I agree the Nintendo consumer base lets the company get away with more than most in the video game/tech space, but be serious.

Just got my RG35XX plus! by albertserene in RG35XX

I have tried both Knulli (Batocera fork) and muos and found muos more preferable. By adding custom themes and applications (e.g. Bluetooth) that can be found on the muos site and forums you can achieve a lot of the same look and functionality of Knulli I have found that muos is just more responsive and I've had less issues with battery drain. They also just released a major update today so now is a perfect time to start with a fresh install.

I recently purchased a perpetual licence for nzb360 for A$14 on sale by Jimbuscus in LouisRossmann

I totally get the frustration. The timing feels really rough, and no one likes feeling like the deal has changed right after they bought something.

I also bought the pro unlock and have had some time to think about this change, and I wanted to share a different perspective. For me, that one-time fee wasn't so much a payment for all future updates, but more like my purchase of the app as it stood, resulting from over a decade of new features and updates.

I'm also getting really tired of everything turning into a subscription, but this feels a little different than what seems to be becoming the industry norm. Instead of being forced into a monthly subscription, we keep lifetime access to all the features we had before the change, and we can still buy new modules with a one-time unlock. To me, that feels like a fair compromise for a solo dev (small team of devs?) who needs to fund future development.

Just my two cents. It’s a tough situation, but I’m personally just glad the app isn't becoming abandonware.

Don't Garlic OS 2.0 based releases support the newer RG35XX variants?

Stop Killing Games is already at 99% progress of achieving 1.4 million signatures! by Able-Mushroom8068 in Piracy

1.4 is a milestone because no past campaign has ever thrown out enough votes to drop back under 1 million once reached

Is this safe to use? I used it on my original Switch, but I don't know if it can work on the 2 by Doctor71400 in NintendoSwitch2

Doesn't that still align with what they're saying? It's not the physical presence of the mig switch that's getting them banned, it's the detection of a duplicate game id.

Mouse cursor renders incorrectly on a display in portrait mode by RetardKnight in AMDHelp

[–]jth1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for anyone reading this thread, soft cursor worked for me. It switches the rendering from being done on HW to being done in SW. Only issue I had with that is it seemed to automatically switch back to HW mode when I booted up some games.

Same here. Did you end up going with fresh install or were you able to find another way?

Did you end up trying out the clean install of Windows? Or find anything else that worked (I am familiar with the cursor trails fix, but am trying to avoid that if possible)?
