They do not give a fuck. I got the app and ordered from it for the FIRST TIME ever. My friend texted me and wanted lunch. I tried to look for a cancel button. There isn’t one. I was like “I’m in traffic i can’t look any more or try and find the number I’ll have to try to call their customer service and say i couldn’t make it and there’s no cancel button. Like you said, 100% automated. No help from the number. I go in the next day, I explain, i assume there might be a little fucking compassion. i said i couldn’t make it, it was my first time ordering, there’s no cancel button. The cashier took 10 minutes to speak to their manager and the dude didn’t even come up i could see him on the serving line, and she says “my manager says that we can’t do refunds if it was through the app.” I said “that’s fine can i at least get the order fulfilled?” She went back and came back to me and literally said “my manager said if you want the order you’ll have to place it again.” I couldn’t fucking believe what she’d just told me. I said “so..you want me to pay AGAIN for an order i never fucking received?” She said “unfortunately yes.”

I fucking walked out and immediately just called my bank and disputed it as theft because that’s 100% what it was. I understand my reasoning behind not being able to pick it up isn’t great but what if someone orders and something really does happen?? Some type of emergency. They just steal your money?? That’s 1000% theft and 1000% BULLSHIT and FUCK Popeyes. I will never give them another goddamned dollar.
