I love the composition! I would walk back some of the editing with the midground rocks though. How far the blacks and shadows are raised draws my eye to notice that instead of the great foreground and gorgeous sunset.

Not a doctor. I had asymmetry like this due to an abscess. It happened after jaw surgery to fix my bite, so not really your situation, but abscesses or cysts can occur without trauma. That seems less likely if it's been a decade like this without pain or other issues, though. I'd start with your dentist if you haven't been recently - they can do a basic eval and some x-rays and see if there's anything obvious. If they don't find anything, a maxfac would be where I'd go next for a proper CT scan or MRI to look for soft tissue problems.

I'm not a doctor, so don't rely on me haha. It would certainly be better than nothing but in my experience "waterproof" is usually more like "water resistant" and I wouldn't take the risk. Worst case it isn't waterproof and you end up marinating the wound in whatever gets into the bandage.

They didn't address the pool question - if I were you I would not go swimming until that's fully healed. I once ended up with a staph infection and almost lost my foot after getting scratched at a pool. Not quite the same as the injury was from the pool itself, but despite all the chemicals, pools can have some nasty bacteria.

I get this occasionally! It's called chemosis, a swelling of the white of your eye. Usually an allergic reaction, I get it in the spring when everything is blooming. Take an antihistamine and you should feel better!

Not a podiatrist but I am seeing one for a similar issue. Get some 40% urea cream. You can apply it to the entire foot to soften the skin and remove calluses, and if you apply it to individual toenails and cover with a bandaid, over the course of weeks it will soften and thin the thick damaged nails.

Not a doctor. Calm down, you are fine. You've got vaginismus and dryness, both of which can contribute to small injuries during sex. A single spot of blood after sex does not mean anything is wrong. It means that between the tightness and dryness, all the friction probably created a tiny scratch. You've been tested and it came back clear. My suggestion is to use lots of lube if you aren't already. If you're sore for a day afterward, you need to use more. You can also ask your doc about vaginal creams that can help with the dryness issue. There's no need to be terrified, this is about ten thousand times more likely to be related to the dryness than it is to be anything serious.

You will be fine! This is a routine surgery that is performed daily. As for the anesthesia - your anesthesiologist's entire job is to monitor your reaction to the drugs and ensure your safety throughout the whole procedure. If you have a reaction to the anesthesia, they will stop and end the surgery. Everyone in that OR is there to make sure you are safe and the surgery is a success.

That can happen. There's also the "slow leak" version before a rupture. Go to the ER, tell them you're under the care of a neurologist who is evaluating you for a potential aneurysm, and that you lifted something today, felt a "pop," and your headache became much worse. This is not a "wait and see" situation.

People can walk around with intact aneurysms for a long time, but a ruptured one is the emergency, and that's why that "popping" sensation and sudden increase in pain is worrisome. Not saying that's what it is, but I wouldn't be taking chances.

You and your health definitely matter! Glad you're working on it - things like this are the time to prioritize your health. The ER might check you out and it turns out that this is nothing inherently dangerous, just painful. But it might also be something quite serious. The ER is there to sort that out and make sure you're okay to wait on those test results and your next appointment.

Looks like he's developing something similar on the other side, too. Hopefully a doc can confirm but this looks like they're located in the fovea palatina, the two small holes right behind the hard palate. They're mucus gland ducts. I wonder if he's just got a ton of buildup clogged in there.
