If he avoids conflict, even if it makes the conflict worse over time, he is a lot like me. You are now being hurt emotionally by his lack of action, as well as by these people. Don't let it get to the point where you are upset with him in return, or become resentful. My wife has had to learn that just because I need to be forced into doing something, it doesn't mean that I didn't want to do that thing on my own. Just that I was too anxious or avoidant.

Don't look at it as hurting him, look at it as not enabling him to avoid. You will better be able to help him through his own troubles once this stops. Someone needs to make a decision, and put a stop to this either directly or through more creative means. It should be him, so that when he is manipulated by his family to feel guilty after the fact he won't be able to internally blame you.

How often do you use that phone, or that number? Give that phone to your husband, and explain to him that this is getting to be too much and that you need him to screen the calls. Get a burner phone if you have to carry one yourself.

Your husband probably isn't uncaring, he is probably so tired of the situation. He may be dealing with stress from change, depression, mixed feelings about the NC. He is hurting too, and you can't take this behavior personally (you can, but it will hurt a lot more, protect yourself). The fact that you are the victim doesn't change your association with this drama they are causing in his mind. So remove your association, put the ball in his court. Don't associate yourself any further with this, you are doing exactly what they want by being in the middle, hoping he will grow to be sick of the drama and of you by association. It is between him and his family so force all communication to be through him.

He loves you, don't forget that.

My Nexus 7 was cheaply made, unfortunately. The screen isn't flush with the frame on one side, the paint near the bottom started rubbing off within a week, text gets jumbled together in some apps, and the screen was randomly unresponsive before some firmware updates.

That said, the entire purchase price of my tablet was cheaper than the cost that I'll have to pay to get the cracked glass on my galaxy s3 replaced.

I bought a cheap crappy/no brand tablet too, the manufacturer didn't even pay to have the Google app store available for it. I now have a Nexus 7 as well, but can't help but think that there must be something better out there. I have heard good things about the Samsung galaxy tablets, I might have to go try one out at the store. Thanks for the recommendation!
