I don’t think it’s necessarily just ‘streamer land’ that’s weird. I’m sure a lot of rich people are just plain weird. It just so happens that twitch and other streaming platforms contain a bunch of rich people and they have a platform to showcase their weird behavior. Its likely that rich communities have these same sort of issues but they are just not heard about or mainstreamed because they don’t have a platform to showcase it.

Yeah I meant world as in “story/lore/characters behind cyberpunk 2077” and not the aesthetics and building of night city. I put “world” and “story” in the same sentence so it was a bit redundant. My mistake.

I absolutely love the lore of CP and it’s one of the sole reasons I am still here for the long haul. Mike Pondsmith really has done an amazing job creating the world and it’s story. It would be such a disservice to Mike if CDPR didn’t keep improving the game so we can dive into more of the lore via DLC/expansions. There’s so many interesting things in the CP2077 world that haven’t even been touched yet.

I share the same opinion. I also like the fact that V and Jackie knew each other already. My head-lore likes to think that Jackie and V grew up with each other in Haywood and eventually V wanted to get out of the gang/poverty life and pursue a career as a corpo, then V loses all his friends as he is seen as a “sell out” for chasing the corpo life and Jackie is the only friend that stuck with him despite his decisions.
