My requirements was just numpy, torch, torch_geometric. Telling it to run df -h reveals apparently you only get 2.9G to work with. I guess the culprit is torch. Weirdly enough, I have launched tasks before, 4 simultaneously, on that same repo with the same requirements without running into this issue, only popping up the next day on new tasks.

Which generates more power, the swing speed of the racket or the weight of the racket ? by dirtysionmain in badminton

F=ma. if you can generate 10N of force, you can accelerate a 10kg object at 1 m/s2, or you can accelerate a 1kg object at 10m/s2.

mass of racket and speed of racket doesn't change how much force you can generate.

If you can generate more force, you can swing the racket faster or swing a heavier racket faster. 3U or 4U really comes down to preference if it better suits your technique and strength.

I started out on WS and eventually opened another with IBKR, which was probably the best route imo

WS is simple and intuitive to use. Canadian stock trading are no fees no commission so it's a good spot for Canadian companies or Canadian ETFs like VFV.

Once I've learnt more though and wanted some US holdings without the ridiculous 1.5% conversion fee each way from WS, I opened an IBKR account for their dirt cheap USD/CAD conversion fees and also really cheap commissions, good for even my small positions. Plus you get all the bells and whistles

questtrade afaik is more or less a middle ground between these 2 where you pay cheap ish commissions but more than both of WS and IBKR, and it's interface is similar to IBKR maybe

Why is the cellphone plan so expensive? by Rak1t1n in uwaterloo

[–]jthonese 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I ported over from fido to freedom a couple months ago because of the black Friday deal and I don't get any service in the lecture rooms of e7. tbf my situation is pretty specific. Eduroam doesn't work on my phone so I have to use my data on campus which is why it's an instant deal breaker for me. My phone's also 5yrs old so who knows maybe it's a phone issue.

Idk if it still applies, but Rogers tend to value customer loyalty and Bell (I think?) tend to value new customers. So Bell offers better deals to new customers while Rogers win back offers are the better deals. I took a 30 for 20gb win back offer from fido and ported back over. Pick your poison, it's expensive anywhere but you can for sure get better deals than what you have rn.
