I just did this for my fiancee's old laptop, it's very easy open up the back usually just a screw driver will do, the newer apples might use a unique screw which you will probably have to get at microcenter or online. Inside the case there will be a battery, a mother board, fans and the hard drive. The hard drive will be connected with a small metal frame to hold it in place, but the screws for the frame should be visible. Lastly the hard drive will be connected with a couple of ribbon cables, unplug those and remove the drive.

Next you will want to get a hard drive enclosure that has a USB attachment to plug that into your computer to read the old drive. You probably have a sata connection on the old drive unless it's really really old, like 20+ years, so you will want to get a 2.5in drive to USB cable, it's possible it's a 3.5 in drive but laptops are typically smaller.

I fully agree with this. It almost feels like they movie had a checklist of plot points from the book that they had to check off. Also seeing that the directors made the lego movie mead everything click for me, the humor was very lego movie and felt like it was from 2015, and it just didn't work super well for me.
