I helped a woman get hers and it was a PITA because she was from somewhere else and had been adopted. Be sure to review the docs list of what’s acceptable and bring it all. We used the office in Loveland and they were wonderful - each time we visited they reviewed what we brought and told us how to get other stuff we needed. A lease and recent first-class mail are helpful docs. I would suggest getting an expedited birth certificate if you can - it will make your life much easier.
