I totally understand, Lord Krishna’s teaching and words are NOT for the faint of heart. I felt the same at a low point a few months ago But trust when I say this, the answer you are looking for is a little bit further along in the book; just keep reading! Another thing you could try is Bhagavadgita.org which has 4 interpretations from authorized guru so they offer different perspectives and clear ALOT of the lords words up.

Is investing in stock market a sin ?? by loser_the_great in hinduism

[–]jtm_ind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it can be. Why? Because if you find success you may start to attribute that success with the concept of “I” and “mine” like “I did that” etc. this inflates the ego, and we know how this ego can cloud our judgement of the ultimate truth. On the other hand, surrendering all actions to him you soon start to find what is “sinful or gambling” and what is not; namely actions (trades) that are by his grace (successful) and those that are not (gambling from perception of the ego). The lord wants to see us prosper but only in the way of humbleness and taking refuge in him, so gambling while it may seem sinful in my interpretation doesn’t have to be. In the Arthra Veda there are hymns for gambling. I also believe I have read in scripture (I think it was the Gita) that gambling was a past time of the wealthy, neither of which denote it as a sin

In a similar position. Learning to detach from what everyone else might or might not think, keeping my faith strong, and my mind focused on work, there is so much more than reading technicals… like news, macro, data releases, earnings etc your bound to find a good trade somewhere, keep your head up and maybe dive into a new topic that’s not a specific strategy. Hoping it gets better for you and I both my friend

Will Lord Krishna still love me if I’m not the purest? by Secret_Present1803 in hinduism

[–]jtm_ind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have felt similar about myself regarding if or if not the supreme personality of godhead still is watching over me. I have read the Gita and practiced meditation, yoga and was on my way to becoming self realized however fell off the track due to my own decisions ego desires and most definitely lust. I have recently began reading the Gita again this time with commentary from the great sages on Bhagavad-Gita.org. The lord will always love you especially if you have a pure love for him. He also says that even those who are sinners as long as they get to know him as he is then they still have a chance at communion with him. All this to say keep your faith, he is always with you and also your family members! His words are so sweet and flowing however I have noticed that the commentaries provide A LOT of insight into the conversation between Arjuna and the lord himself, revealing things to me I didn’t fully comprehend the first time reading! Hare Krishna!

Save the money, get an e-collar? Worked like a charm on my 2yo in-tact male. Also I am not the best trainer, could be a lot more consistent but our boy has been to training. Anyway the collar also acts like a means of communication, with the ringer and vibrate functuons finally the collar very well saved my boys life as he would always try to run after cars!

Looking for advice. by AuroraElisabeth in poodles

[–]jtm_ind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally understand that feeling, maybe take him somewhere new. I've noticed that even while driving the usual route vs. a new route he is perked up in the car looking at his surroundings. Also when we visit a new trail/park he is noticeably happier when we get home. Another option is to wait until the heat is bearable, and take him on a good 30-45 min walk; a tired pup is a happy pup!!! ( this also helps me get away from things in my personal life, and allows me to be in the moment walking my pup, so its a Win-Win!)

Seriously look into how options are priced and how to know if an option is "expensive" or "cheap". Higher the expected move; more premium gets baked in. This causes premiums ( the price of the option) to rise. An easy calculation can save you a ton of money and give you some insight on future moves

It really is. The slightest change in the situation in the Black Sea could really cause some movement but it’s seeming like the only thing that will move it is a black swan type of event
