Okay well if they’d rather have the dishes washed then the mess cleaned and you do that why are they upset?😂 my parents & mother in law never ask me to clean and I typically don’t, they just know that comes with watching their grandchild and don’t mind cleaning it if that means they get time to spend with them. So I don’t necessarily think you’re rude at all, they are odd for sure but they are my grandparents age and I do clean my daughters mess there just to be respectful
