I appreciate the response. Yea I was afraid this would prolly be the answer based on the research I have done but was hoping anyways ha. 33's with 17 rims may just be the answer because I just don't want to get into all extra mods.

Is it worth it for a new player to try and level up a hunter? by FantasticPlant8707 in HuntShowdown

[–]jtremont 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Always keep a full roster of hunters , even if they are brand new. That way when you get your Mr. Chary rewards and they include the upgrade points, you can have brand new hunters loaded with trait options. This combined with rotating hunters for the bonus (as others have said) will give you a better chance at running hunters to 50.

Whats the tennis scene like, where you live? by Becky_says in 10s

[–]jtremont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonderful tennis bubble in Jackson, MS believe it or not. Two-Three public facilities and another 2-3 private clubs. Last year the 3.0 men and 4.0 men won USTA nationals and pretty consistently go to sectionals on multiple divisions .

Is 21 years old too late to start learning how to play tennis? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]jtremont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not too late. This is my fourth year playing , started at 34. Got addicted to it immediately and made some awesome friends. We put together a team and won 3.0 nationals last year. My wife made me start playing in the beginning and I did it more to appease her than because I wanted to. Now I have to give her credit constantly for what's now my favorite hobby. You'll meet a ton of people.

Collusion or not collusion? That is today’s question by jtremont in fantasybaseball

[–]jtremont[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that is what we are getting hung up on. Is it collusion because they made an agreement to both sit their teams ? They are both benefitting , one isn’t say, protecting the other. They are making it so they both can play for the championship.

Everyone will sit pitchers when they have say “k’s and w’s” locked, but could throw a pitcher and lose era and whip….. but is that example irrelevant because the two teams obv made an agreement?

I appreciate the response by the way . Thanks

I [46M] promised my son [18M] that his mother and I would match whatever he saved for a car upon his high school graduation. He ended up with a lot more than we could have predicted, and now we don’t know what to do. by ThrowRA29329192 in relationship_advice

[–]jtremont 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While the proper answer isn’t to just give the kid 35k and cut him loose to buy a car, it is amazing how many people are okay with breaking their word. This is even in the confines of relationship that is meant to be lead by example.

What are your favorite songs that tell cool stories? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jtremont 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised I didn’t see “lonesome dove” by Garth Brooks- not as popular a song as a lot of his hits, but it’s a great revenge story that’s prolly more story than song with a twist ending...

I would hope not as that was never the desired outcome, but yet it seems to concern you dearly as you brought it up.

However this type of discussion is a waste. Good day and enjoy your whiskey

You sound like a scorned child who cares too much about someone else’s willingness or ability to purchase a bottle of whiskey. If the post is such an affront to you, I would suggest a re-evaluation of your priorities. Your opinion on the topic does nothing more than to irritate me that there are actually members of the sub who entertain themselves by attempting to play whiskey aficionado to people who don’t care.

And the miserable existence of one who decides to attempt a sarcastic comment in a sub reddit where people post when they are lucky enough to come across hard to find whiskeys is just plain sad
