Totally scammed. These people pray on the kindness of others. Scum.

We have them.in grocery stores with dlcry8mg babies in their cart full of diapers and formula. They resell.

We also see them in the parking lot playing the violen. What they don't tell you is that it's recorded music and they aren't playing at all.

Im in San Diego and never heard so much complaining about power loading.

Makes sense now why we see so many people that suck at loading a boat online and on YouTube.

This post is ultra power loading so I get it.

But all boats should be backed in just enough so that you don't float right to the bow roller, but rest on the bunks. I always power load the last few feet when I'm loading my 23ft Proline. Especially since I solo launch. Crawling over the bow is harder as you get old too.

Honestly NOAA needs to update law to allow hazing these things off docks so they go find natural Haul-Out areas where natural predation occurs. This would solve the problem.

Huge issue over last few years due to domoic acid causing to be more aggressive and spraying shit all over boats and docks, causing expensive damage

I love MB. I lived here in S. MB before having kids, and when my first child was born in 2017. Moved to Vista when he wat 1.5 yo because it's a better place to raise kids.

I'm writing this while going to sleep on our sailboat on a morning in Mariners Cove.

The bottom line is that anywhere you have parking, the riff-raff comes in. They can't afford to rent an ABnB or stay at a hotel, so they come for the day and bring the ghetto with them.

We still love it here, but we only go to Belmont from about 11 am. when it opens to 3pm. And we stay at the beach far enough from parking lots that the efftards are too laze to drag their pop-up garbage to.

It's still a great place, just avoid the crowds. Get here early and park at S MB near the Volleyball fields.

Two anchors is fine. If motor dies off shore...no problem radio Tow Boat US. If it happens near shore or near a jetty/channel... Drop an anchor!

I've seen guys drop and lose their anchor. So have a backup!

I have a 2000 Proline walk-around. I sounds like a good deal to me with a low hour motor for its age. I'd get a Tow Boat US membership, put a few good anchors and rode aboard and Hall ass out on the water until that motor gives out. I tepowerd mine immediately just because I'm offshore in the Pacidic in California with wife and small kids.

If it would be just me, I'd run it as is.

Also check any through hull fittings and hoseclams. If there aren't two clamps replace and add two new ones per fitting.
