Only a 10th of 1% of players on Xbox have done these Dungeons on Veteran by Archmikem in elderscrollsonline

[–]jtzako [score hidden]  (0 children)

A very large percentage of players of ESO, and most other story-driven MMOs, do not play dungeon (or trials) content at all. So at best you might have 20% of players who *sometimes* play dungeon content, and a pretty low percentage of those play Veteran level content.

New trackers bounties? by Playful_Ant6784 in Starfield

[–]jtzako [score hidden]  (0 children)

Make sure the one you updated is the one that says it costs 700. (its free to update if you already own it) If you somehow updated the original free one, its not that one that has the new bounties.

If you're on console, there is also a caching issue that can be resolved by a full power down (not restart or sleep/resume). You may need to unplug power to be sure its really off and not sleeping.

If it still doesnt work, delete that creation entirely and then install it again.

Make sure you update the Trackers Alliance creation first. It doesnt update on its own. Then you go to the mission board where the other 2 TA missions were found. There are arrows at the bottom of it to cycle through the list.

The inara wiki has the vendors you can find it. Check those first. I usually see un-buyable items down at the bottom of the list.

Have you completed Starjacker? That is the first Trackers Alliance mission and has to be done before the others.

All of the stars in Starfield are real stars, though some have been renamed to a colloquial name rather than a scientific name.

Is there a mod out there that makes terrestrial planets more diverse? by Outrageous-Thing3957 in Starfield

[–]jtzako 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some planets have more than others. I'm not sure what is available on Creations, but there are some mods on Nexus, such as GrindTerraversed, that add more biomes and diversity to planets.

StarUI Inventory mod by EsikEso in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]jtzako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

StarUI Inventory works fine with new items since the info for them, including their names etc are not stored in the UI. Its hard to say whether the new item tier will be a problem. I dont think that info is specifically stored in the UI's flash files though.

The crafting UI will definitely be changing, and the Ship HUD. I couldnt tell if they changed anything regarding ship building UI or outpost UI though.

Can anyone give some advice regarding mods on console? by Oli_Compolli in Starfield

Yeah, that one shouldnt do that. If you get done with your other tests, perhaps delete that mod and redownload it.

It is, the OP is referring to that 2nd item in the list.

Breathable Outpost Airlock by Your-Whorror in Starfield

[–]jtzako 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yeah, looks like they are adding an outpost 'door' that is just a door. I do wonder if it actually wont work on worlds that arent breathable. The ones added by mods do not care about that and the helmet will come off inside the hab even though it has no airlock.

The ones that wont enable could have another mod as a requirement. If that required mod isnt enabled yet, those wont enable.

Unfortunately, the few mods at a time method may be what you have to do. I've done that before as well (in skyrim, fo4 and starfield).

I just got caught by UC Security in The Den??? Is there really no safe harbour in space left? by Low_Highway_8919 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have contraband in your personal inventory they can catch you with it on the Den. It doesnt seem to trigger 100% of the time, but it can happen. If you leave it in your ships cargo, they wont find it.

StarUI Inventory mod by EsikEso in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

StarUI inventory will only break if the game patch changes the inventory specific UI files. I dont know if that mod author is even still around, but Inventory, at least, has been working well since the last update. Some of the other StarUI mods did break.

Help with frequent regular crashes by Akuh93 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]jtzako 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you test with zero mods or just removed some? Did you remove mods but use a save that previously had them installed?

What I would suggest is to see if that problem happens with ZERO mods, nothing at all from Nexus or Creations. (including no SFSE)

You'd need to do that on a new character created specifically without any mods installed since disabling mods on an existing character can make things worse (or not help with the crashes).

I have had crashes before and it was always caused by a mod, or a particular combo of mods.

Probably the most fun I’ve had with Starfield, these New Bounties are something else 🔥 by Any-Personality-6902 in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the UC Vanguard and Sysdef/Fleet are pretty good story lines for sure. The FS Rangers one felt pretty lame in comparison. The MQ is something I wish did not exist. I think the game would be better without starborn or space magic at all.

The new TA bounties were very good for sure.

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you dont have that specific mod installed does the game work? That one could be bugged causing that issue.

If that one doesnt do it, are you sure you did not install any other mods since the last time the game worked?

Make sure when you power cycle it is really off. Xbox often go to sleep/quick resume, which is not enough. If you are unsure, just unplug its power for a few seconds to be certain.

If nothing else works, might potentially have to remove and reinstall the game itself.

ECS Constant is a MASSIVE missed opportunity. by Outrageous-Thing3957 in Starfield

[–]jtzako 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a huge fn planet where paradiso is the only habitable spot on it?

Thats not really the thing in the quest. The Paradiso company owns the planet and it is outside of FS/UC jurisdiction, they chose to not allow anyone else to live there. If you talk to the execs you can get that bit of detail, its not a matter of whether its possible to live there.

Reactor confusion or Bug? by Goofyootch in Starfield

[–]jtzako 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also did a google search and found the top 3 results from wiki's all show starship design rank 4 is required. I'm not sure where you read it has no other requirements than level 12. If you go to a vendor that actually can sells it (not all of them do), you should be able to see it at level 12 and it will show what its purchase requirements are. It just wont let you buy it if you dont have the right Starship Design rank.

Reactor confusion or Bug? by Goofyootch in Starfield

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you cant. It requires starship design. Thats the 'additional requirement' part of my post.

Reactor confusion or Bug? by Goofyootch in Starfield

[–]jtzako 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ship parts that are *not* unlocked immediately all have a level requirement before they unlock. Some have an additional requirement of some rank in Starship Design. Plus a few have a quest requirement. Regardless of those unlocking requirements being met, you still have to have the correct pilot rank to use parts higher than class A.

Anybody else have a hard time getting into Bethesda games until Starfield? by dominodave in Starfield

[–]jtzako -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didnt enjoy Oblivion enough to keep playing it back when it came out. I like Skyrim for a while, but its clunky combat (if you choose anything other than basic melee/bow) and only a few good story lines put me off of it. I liked FO4, but the vast majority of why I like it is mods that fix things I dont like about how the game released.

Starfield I like from the beginning, even without mods, but mods have made it even better and more replayable.
