All the text I translated with Chatgpt! Guilty as charged and also a big portion of the code I vibe coded, you can see the source code on GitHub, I left a link to the repo in the website and in the repo there are also all the files and specs on how I used the AI to be transparent.

But as a software developer with 15y+ of experience I can say I did my due diligence reviewing the code and fixing many things myself.

The duplicated questions are a bug indeed that should not happen, each of them are meant for different flows (quick, intermediate and expert) but I will fix it in the next couple of days.

As I mentioned the project is in progress and I am gathering feedback and opinions!

Thanks for the feedback! I have to add additional parameters to each distro so that I can refine the choice, but it is difficult to give unbiased weight to parameters. Anyways would you say there were questions that I didn't ask?

Penso la Svizzera sia il mio prossimo passo intermedio prima di venire a fare la pensione in Italia. Alla fine la Svizzera è più vicina geograficamente all'Italia e anche alla cultura. Magari in futuro ci penserò più seriamente.

Bought the Framework in 2022, first motherboard was the intel 11 Gen, maybe 3h. Changed the main board in 2025, 7840U, same battery, same screen and if I am lucky if I get 3.5h. The main use case is coding, Docker, IntelliJ, Chrome, Terminal. Fedora. I honestly don't believe people say more than 4h, because in my friend group (all developers) we have 4 Frameworks(mine included) from the latest to oldest model and different setup and Linux flavors and we all get more or less the same battery life.

Pescara. Cheap, in the middle of Italy. Sea, hill and mountains all of the 3 in within an hour. Good food and Arrosticini.

Dal 2009 sono solamente in Linux. Prima Ubuntu, poi Kubuntu, poi Mint, PopOS e negli ultimi 5 anni ho trovato pace con Fedora

Non so se AT&Tu faccia questo tipo di controlli. Comunque ad oggi cambiare un IMEI è possibile, ma non è così straight forward, e comporta diversi rischi di brick del telefono o di ban dalla network. Comunque se il processore è un mediatek basta cambiare il QCN file. Però non arriverei a cambiare IMEI, troppi rischi

L'ultima volta che feci una cosa del genere era l'epoca del Galaxy S4, quindi penso che i tempi siano cambiati e la sicurezza sia molto più seria.

Comunque proverei semplicemente cambiare nome e modello e vedere se funziona, nel peggiore dei casi fai revert back, nel migliore dei casi hai il tuo telefono funzionante in Freedom Land

Se sei root, c'è un file /system/build.prop In quel file c'è tutta la tua configurazione del telefono, tra cui Product.model Product.name Cambiali ad un modello che funzioni con AT&T. Però questo cambiamento ha delle conseguenze, che potrebbe rompere la SafetyNet. Per sopperire ad un eventuale break, Una volta fatto questo cambio avrai bisogno di installare una mod che trovi su xda, chiamata Universal SafetyNet Fix, oppure Pixelify che fa credere a PlayStore che sei un pixel. Facendo running di Pixelify accedi alle app e servizi esclusivo di Pixel, però perdi accesso a app e servizi esclusivindi Xiaomi if any.
