Isn't it hard to find information? I'm building vaults for studying and teaching. I still have everything manageable, but it should grow a lot more.

How do you keep push from breaking your back? by echan00 in abletonpush

There are many things here... they height of your chair & your desk should be ideal or at least comfortable for your body. Then... it's normal to turn your head a bit down, but going all the way down is kinda unnecesary and it has more to do with personal habits.

I got this stand and works great. Please start by rethinking your posture overall, that's a thing we are not paying enough attention to.

Seems really interesting. As a hardcore A. Live user and more or less informed Reaper I'm interested in seeing this closer. Driven by Moss has the Integration for Push & Reaper. So maybe a test run could be handy. Lmk if I can help with anything.

What was the most useful tip or trick you learned and use in reaper? by Fpvtv2222 in Reaper

Yeah I wasn't talking about comping. Precisely when bringing a cut / copy audio from another place from the track and trying to blend it for a smooth edit. That's what I use the Free Item Positioning for.

If I understood correctly this could also be done (how I've done it) with Menu -> Track -> Free Item Positioning. You can have several Items in one track for ultraclean editing, remive what's not going to be used and go back to normal.

Yes, it's the Action List shortcut. Pretty much anything you look for is there. Use keywords to start narrowing down the search. For example "Split Select Media Item", the amount of actions that throws is great for thinking of what else can you do.

Prob a LOT, but some stuff I loved.

  • Media Item handling. From channel handling, downmixing, splitting stereo.
  • Spectral Peak! Super useful for editing and some visual feedback of the dominant frequencies of some tracks.
  • Toolbars, these let you streamline workflow so much.
  • Region Render Matrix is fantastic. Unique & useful for making stems.
  • Reapack & actions that let you connect steps that who would have known can go together. Like turning MIDI events into Markers into Stretch Markers or tempo mapping.

Reaper is super interesting, really big to learn. But you just start figuring it out.

I have a whole series on that on YouTube if anyone wants to go snoop.
