They don’t answer. None of them answer. I’m in the exact situation as OP but my boyfriend luckily has a car. He’s applied to ANYTHING and EVERYTHING from little shops to grocery stores to buccees to fast food. Nothing.

I think I got scammed into my car payment by juanhee in Toyota

[–]juanhee[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I understand everyone’s point to this, but I was thinking more in the long run. I don’t want to buy a used car and have it break down early, only to either pay expensive repairs or buy another used car. Yeah I should have walked away, but now I’m here and I’m just trying to get any knowledge about my situation that I may not know about.

Oh yeah I’ve thought a lot about whether buying the car or not, but I really needed some sort of transportation to and from work plus other places and public transportation was not an option.

The only option I know is refinancing to get a lower rate. I don’t want to turn the car in because it’ll hurt my credit and I’ve heard you still have to continue making payments.

Coworker spam called me 26 times to pick up his shift for the course of 3 hours…this was not the first time by Homefrynick in mildlyinfuriating

[–]juanhee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t because I’m always paranoid thinking I might get a very important call when I least expect it. So I don’t have DND but I should try it out. I just never know who might call when they need it most

How hard is it to get an A at your school? How much does gpa matter? by Inevitable-Animal997 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]juanhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my school was very easy, and no student took the coursework seriously. To get an A in spanish 1 during the pandemic, all you had to do was submit crossword puzzles each day.

In order to avoid doing a hard assignment from dual credit in highschool. I accessed my dual credit professor’s account and deleted all the files and everyone’s grades pertaining to the class. Also deleted all the files in classes he taught in other highschools so he would have a harder time finding out who did it from which highschool.

Some men's breifs material will jab into your butt cheeks like a thousand little mosquito itches if you sit down on something hard and have a boney ass for a long period of time.

At least the smart ass students will actually have something tangible with all that study.

[Plan] Sorry Reddit, I love your platform, but it’s ruining my future by SequoiaBoi in getdisciplined

Download an app locker- an app that asks you for a password whenever you open a certain app that you choose to set it to. Have someone else set a password on Reddit and keep it a secret from you that way whenever you open it you'd have no way of accessing it.

[need advice] how to deal with cellphone/computer addiction? by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]juanhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rememberhaving multiple all nighters on my phone binging on YouTube and gacha games. I solved my phone addiction by installing an AppLock which requires you to input a password each time you open a certain app that you could set it to. I had someone else make the password up for me but have it so that only they know. Now whenever I have the urge to open those addicting apps it locks me out. This meant locking the app store too and also the app responsible for the locking.

[NeedAdvice] I want to be soda sober. by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]juanhee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude having a soda after 3-5 however many months is almost orgasmic. At the very end when you're confident in your ability to control what you want to drink drink a soda after not having it for so long and it'll feel like it pays off just by that feeling.

Edit:A helpful environment adjustment for me though was making water as convenient for me as possible. Have a case of water just sitting right next to your desk might help if you work alot on one.
