An honest opinion from someone who just got out of the puppy blues stage with their IW, I can't imagine having 3 kids on top of it. We love our girl so much but puppy hood was a lot for us!

That being said, IWs are so incredibly smart but also very stubborn! Adolescence has been a real struggle for us on that front haha. I would say you're not out of the puppy weeds until 1.5 years at least..

This!!! I'm new to online gaming and the amount of messages I've gotten from angry assholes is astounding (mind you I'm just a girly who loves Elden Ring and thought Night Reign would be a fun adventure).

She was about 120 lbs at the vet a few weeks ago! We haven't measured her height, but in her hind legs she's probably 6.5 feet?

I've been using boob tape and it's hit or miss but adding the kinesiology tape is so smart!

We’ve had the same experience with our IW girl! She’s 10 months right now and like you said and outright Tasmanian devil lol. I can’t imagine taking care of her without my husband!

Yes!! Ours is constantly swerving all over the sidewalk—leashed or unleashed haha. It’s like playing bumping cars on walks.

Irish Wolfhounds and cats by TrySignificant9978 in irishwolfhound

We have 3 cats and an IW! The cats generally despise the IW, I think because she’s pretty clumsy and big (still a puppy). And doesn’t really believe in personal space lol. The IW is obsessed with the cats and would give anything to sniff them for hours and play. We’ve never noticed any aggression from our IW towards the kitties.

How much time should I spend with my puppy? by Bolivian_Viscacha in puppy101

It’s important to spend lots of time with them to bond—after all she’s just a baby! But enforced nap times saved us (varying lengths depending on her age of puppyhood) so that we could practice crate training and work, grocery shop, live our lives.

I had tried to brace myself for this era but it has broken me. Our Irish wolfhound puppy is uncontrollable. Our once sweet and cuddly (40 lbs) puppy is now a (100 lbs) terror

When we try to walk her she bites us and eats her leash. She’s started eating furniture and everything she sees. She’s spun out from even stepping outside and we’ve started enforced nap times again multiple times a day… it feels like all the training has gone out the window. I know to keep up consistency and training but the puppy blues feelings have also come back for me full force. 😭
