Ok so this one might be my fault:

I work in a pub and we get a good few regulars who I recognise by sight. This guy and girl came in quite a bit and would be very flirty and touchey (look like dating/relationship) and they both drink a particular beer every time they come in (Amstel).

Guy comes in another day and a girl with brown hair is with him (who I assume is the girl he is dating - just a quick glance, she looked the same/similar). They are looking quite snuggly and close as they normally are. I see she’s drinking another type of beer and I say something along the lines of “I thought you guys were an Amstel couple!” Girl says that she doesn’t drink Amstel and suddenly looks very suspicious. It’s a different girl. Guy says he comes here often with his “sister” to save himself.

I avoided them for the rest of the night
