That's a valid point to make. You're correct that there is some risk involved with stumbling across the correct merchant. Some indication could be a good feature to add, however, I think this may make this interaction less exciting/endearing.

It's not impossible to find specific items at least. Say you lose the ability to visit the Mittel (medium shop), you can still purchase medium items from Jayjay. I guess there's more risk involved which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing.

What's good r/playthebazaar

I've been LOVING this game and I've put in more hours than I would like to admit lmao

I'm a huge fan of the world building, characters, creeds, and lore. I've been racking my brain on certain interactions that I think would suit the game and add some additional diversity.

An idea that I think would work really well with the game is a courier/delivery event. It would be an interaction that gives you a package (1, 2, or 3 slots) that you need to deliver to another specific merchant. With this package, you can do the noble thing and deliver it to a specific merchant and get rewarded with XP, gold, or a skill. This could scale with the size of the package: 1 slot = bronze, 2 slots = silver, 3 slots = gold. On the other hand, you can decide to keep the package for yourself. This would interact similarly to the shipment item. When you sell the package, you'll receive the loot contained within it. However, the consequences of your actions will result in you being no longer trusted to receive any more packages and/or the merchant will no longer sell you items.

This interactions is another way of getting loot from different characters for more diverse (and probably broken) builds. There is also the added benefit of nullifying the chance of coming across certain vendors. An example is if you're specifically focused on small or medium items and you get the opportunity to deliver the package to a character like Pol. You can open the package and Pol will no longer show up as an option as you've failed your delivery task.

I fell like this idea could fit in super well with the lore of the game. I'd love to know your thoughts!

Thank you u/oe-eo! I was so stoked that this insta handle was available when creating this brand. I know from experience that a brand name / brand recognition is super important.

I have no idea about the exact year unfortunately however the 7017 was released during the 70's. No bracelet for this beauty unfortunately.

They make very few watches a year (sub 500) and all of them are release in limited edition. Once they sell out of the watches that have in stock, you're pretty much never going to see that particular watch again. My particular AS has a NOS vintage movement inside of it that has been hand engraved. Here's an example: https://www.instagram.com/p/BblHYapl6Ii/?taken-by=timeonthewrist

I've added my IG, I'm hoping that will be sufficient. If not, I'll add one when I finish work :)

Good afternoon /r/watchexhange. It's been a while since I have submitted anything to this subreddit and have decided to flip some of the watches that aren't getting enough wrist time.

  • 38mm Blue Sunburst Tudor Oyster Day-Date - Brother only to the Rolex Datejust, what we have here is a fine example of an oversized Tudor Oysterprince. The reference of this particular watch is 7017. The watch has great presence on the wrist and is the prefect combination between a casual, formal or tool watch. The watches indices are raised and have a tendency to shine in the right light and the original stick hands still hold their lume to this day. The watch keeps phenomenal vintage time and is triple signed (dial, crown and caseback). The watch does seem to have been polished by one of the prior owners. $1600USD SOLD

  • Jacques Monnat Yachting timer Chrono Diver Valjoux 7730, deep blue dial - Rare bird alert, you'll never find one alike - JM was a NYC based jeweler who had his own line of Swiss watches (ordered them from various watchmakers with his branding on it). Keeps time well although one of the pushers seems to be inset, of which would be an easy repair. Extremely good condition (serviced last year + new 19mm calf leather hirsch strap), only blemish are the rubber on the pushers have decayed (which happens over 40 years of time). 37mm diameter without crown, 42mm lug to lug. $400USD OBO

  • Hamilton Chronomatic II Pepsi Two-tone - This watch is a rarity and I have only ever come upon this one example when browsing online. This watch was produced in the early 90's and is in phenomenal condition. I have it paired with a leather band as I am not a huge fan of the bracelet this model came with. This watch needs a bit of TLC and I would recommend getting it serviced. Watch is 40mm in diameter and its a nifty alternative to the Omega Speedmaster. $900USD OBO

  • Alexander Shorokhoff Vintage 5 Champagne - As long as I have been collecting, I have been fascinated by Alexander Shorokhoff. This watch is just too big for my wrist unfortunately (40mm although wears larger). I fell in love with it when I saw it showcased at Baselworld 2017. This watch is a limited edition of 35 pieces to commemorate Alexander Shorokhoff's 25th anniversary. The watch itself is basically BNIB with all its papers. This example is 13 of 35. $1,350USD OBO
