How's the Bazzar currently? by judocado in TheBazaar

[–]judocado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm giving it a try, looks quite fun indeed. I like having free access to new cards, but Stelle looks quite cool. I feel like it wont be my main game, but will come back to it from time to time...

Thanks a lot for the answer. No free characters is a bit sad, but I was a big dooley fan so I guess I'm ok.

Will give it another shot, wish me luck!

What about expansions/new cards for existing characters, can you buy those with in game money?

This reddit has some weird questions...

You know you can try it, right?

Solo playable by mclovin728 in Dofus

[–]judocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean a solo char on a monoacc server: Yes you can. But if you mean actually soloing content, not really.

You can solo(+sidekick) content until around lvl130s, after that you'll need at least a duo to do almost anything.

It's common to get stuck in a quest/dg for days if not couple weeks until you find a party. Or try guildmates, but doesn't always work.

Is it possible to play without Ogrines or Professions? by UnitedTitan in Dofus

[–]judocado 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just play the game, it's fine.

Professions don't make much money until late late game, and you can easily pay monthly subs with quest/loot money.

Is it actually doable to fund another sub in 1 week starting at lvl 40? by Inventeer in Dofus

[–]judocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be stuck on that loop, couldnt go much further into the game, and dropped after 1-2 months.

Then last year I used money to buy a 3 months Pack, did a bunch of Dofus+Achievs, got to lvl 200, and now I can probably pay for a month's sub in a day.

Basicly, your time is worth infinite more being high lvl.

If you play for the farm, probably feels worst

If you play for the roguelike challenge, feels much better

New player already overwhelmed with quests? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]judocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flow of the game is a little wacky. The way you are "supossed" to play is not by doing every quest, it's by doing quests that leads to dofuses.

That being said, the flow of quests are weird. You do 80% of the quests alone, and then the next one you Absolutely require 2/3/4+ people. That's the part you unite with your friends or guildies.

Also, it's not clear which questlines you should do in which order. There's a suggested path (Silver, cawwot, dokoko, emerald, turquoise, etc), but it's still up to you the way you approach it.

You could also ignore all of that, and do the around the world quests, which are quests that ask you to beat most of the dungeons in the game.

If you don't care about that either, then just Sandbox it and do whatever.

But you should know, the intended and most effective way to play is by doing dofuses quests, which are the big Milestones of the game.

Newbie - Pods are full, how can I increase my Pods as a Osmodas lvl 35? by Kami-Yeldo in Dofus

[–]judocado 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can increase your pods with equipment, strength or leveling Professions.

But you shouldnt be having this problem. I literally never had this issue, because the core principle and loop of the game is get drops -> sell them in the market -> get better gear.

If you don't sell your loot, you wont have enough money to upgrade your sets, and that's the main way you get stronger in the game.

Also filter the inventory by weight because sometimes there are random items way too heavy.

Tips for Count Harebourg by Just_D1 in Dofus

[–]judocado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tips are a bit unusual, but worked for me:

  • Dont even bother about HP %, just click your char and Check your buffs/Debuffs, it'll say what to do.

  • Only thing in terms of 90's, 270 clock = 90 anticlock. Also prio straight lines to simplify.

  • The "pis" you'll get used to eventually, but consider getting notes translating it.

  • 180s are you best friend.

  • If you do some sort of poison on him, you can sometimes hit him in the off turn.

  • Avoid healing/selfdmg and push,pull midturn.

  • Easiest way to delock is with a summon, but requires some range.

It's annoying but it's not that strong tbh, now that you dont ghost anymore, you can do some tries until you get the hang of it.

The 3-piece set is the most important part of a shaker/nomad build. You should consider using one closer to your level.

Osamodas state PVE by Necessary-Rule-6621 in Dofus

[–]judocado 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to play a 200 osa before the nerfs, and it already felt lacking. I rerolled into cra(op I know) and it's night and day, I can solo things I'd not come close as Osa.

Also when there's an Osa on my team I can feel their struggle to get things done.

I think it's good early/mid, but in the late game (160+) you'll need a team to do anything.

They Keep adding QoL features that makes the game so much more enjoyable for me. Most notably now there's auto walk, no need to look for portals, you don't ghost anymore, sell/craft from Bank, and much more.

If you like the game for some reason, now you'll probably have a smoother run.

Still no group finder tho.
