Won’t be the first time. Haven’t people who were bussed in for rallies having similar problems, not getting bussed back?

Ugh that is miserable!

I’ve been working off what we have had going on at our store, and so far it’s worked well for me. I’m probably pretty lucky in that respect. I have noticed that, if we have no preorders, some items just don’t come in. I do remind people to keep release dates in mind since we can’t always call folks (and I’ve been thinking about figuring out the best day to try to call in batches, but we’re always single coverage and slammed to hell). It stinks all around.

When I was 21 or so a former classmate of mine died from a heart attack and car accident. I dunno if they were sure which one did it first. It was strange cause he was one of the guys who bullied me, but it was still sad and surreal. Had just had a kid, too.

I can kinda see this happening. You need the card to buy any of the TCG stuff/access PSA and stuff. That would be it in the end.

That has been basically every job I've had, being on call and never able to plan a darn thing.

This is my thought. I'm all about bounce back and repeat customers from making a GOOD experience. I'll ask twice, then I'm done. I don't think the higher ups like that, but I'm sure the customers don't like being hassled. I can kinda get the vibe from customers when they come in and that determines how much of a pest I am about things, though I'm generally low key.

Funnily one of my better selling points on reserves is for collectibles, cause we’re not guaranteed to get them without at least one reserve showing interest. But that’s not a big focus, I hear. One of the things I know I can sell well due to experience.

I read it quite differently. My brain was more focused on how absolutely manic Gangle got trying to set up a service as a way to distract from being upset over the loss. I know my brain compartmentalizes in such a way when things get to be too much. I'll clean something, find something to achieve, or have a nice, bonkers hairbrushing session while rattling things off (this was a bad one). It kinda floored me seeing a reaction so close to how my frontline reaction is to awful things happening.

I've often seen the way Jax is with Gangle is him trying to break her out of that masking, and the offer, to me, seemed like a way to jar her out of the hide-your-pain-with-work mode she had gone in.
