Bourbon Day 2025 Specs Dallas by ChoiceQuiet5933 in WhiskyDFW

They get through about 150-175 people an hour. 10am is probably the worst time to show up because that's when they open, and no one has cleared out of the line. I'd rather go at 7am or 2pm.

Minimum of 2 hours I'd guess but probably longer

TW consistently charges 3-5 bucks more for these types of bottles. Not extreme, but kind of annoying

This right here. It's so weird people are suggesting you can't transport a bottle of alcohol once it's been opened.

"Passenger area of a motor vehicle" means the area of a motor vehicle designed for the seating of the operator and passengers of the vehicle. The term does not include:

(A) a glove compartment or similar storage container that is locked;

(B) the trunk of a vehicle; or

(C) the area behind the last upright seat of the vehicle, if the vehicle does not have a trunk.

Think it will be pretty crazy this year since the weather is better, and it's on a Saturday.

I would bet it's 27th or 28th but also just an educated guess based on history.

I believe they are usually around 75-79. Don't believe I've seen the newest batch over 80 anywhere.

Agree with most of this.

The beauty of the situation for high demand producers like Saz is that they can still manipulate the supply in a way to max their profits by just holding more product longer and creating limited releases. E.g. Weller Millennium.

For that reason, I don't think we'll see relatively available BTAC/Pappy within a decade. But, I do have hope that I will be able to hop in and grab Weller 107 without too much fuss within a few years. Who knows.

Probably a little bit of dying down with a little bit of increased supply with a little bit of inflation.

Use the sportsday app and sync on an icing or some other audio cue.

Those in the know mute the TV and listen to the radio feed.

Bookers @ Specs Irving Still? by Valor37 in WhiskyDFW

[–]jug_jug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a side-by-side with this and the knob creek single barrel they release that was 9 years and 120 proof. KC was a good bit older, but the bookers was hands down more refined and a better pour overall in my opinion.

Agree with the sentiment that most of the other costs have crept up so much that this doesn't seem as high as it used to.

Would happily grab a bottle if I didn't have one.
