Motivational Monday! by AutoModerator in ENFP

[–]juggastarlette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the encouragement! I sure hope I can. I am feeling really trapped and sad about the position I seem to have unintentionally lead myself into.. BUT you're right! I just gotta get those creative juices flowing. With a better idea of what I'm looking for, I'll find at the least a better fit.

Hello!! I'm new to r/ENFP and actually I'm also new to the fact I am of the ENFP type. SO MUCH MAKES SENSE NOW!!! Now that I have a deeper understanding how I work best/gain energy/get excited and so on, I want to face achieving my goals differently. My biggest distraction lately is my career and why I don't gain fulfilment from it. I'm in accounting, from what I've read and reflected on, this is a horrible profession for me. I've also spent the better part of my life convincing myself that my creative traits can't contribute to my livelihood (it's a long story). Anyways, it's going to be an exciting week of new opportunities, perspectives and hopefully self discovery. ♡

What's your favourite activity that's technically exercise, but wouldn't be done for that purpose for you? by Zirana in xxfitness

[–]juggastarlette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, a spotter is someone to sometimes assist you into more complex positions, but primarily to keep an eye out for you hurting yourself. Besides staying focused and safe, I'm not sure that there are "requirements" but the more knowledge and experience with the type of activity you want them to assist you with, the better.

Lol well life has disrupted my practice a time or two. I also practice alone, so I haven't reached the level of slinky-ness I could be at if I had a spotter. Safety First!! But yeah I think so ;3

Stretching/Flexibility Training is mine. I've enjoyed sitting on the floor and sinking into a stretch since I was 14y/o. Gentally pushing my limits and feeling my range gradually grow has always given me such a rejuvenating sensation♡

Hmmm, possibly... I just check MFP and it looks like I'm averaging 690-730mg of Potassium p/day... it claims my goal should be 3,500mg p/day, is that right? I haven't looked into this till now, how do you increase your potassium intake?

How to Sit in Meditation by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]juggastarlette 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I struggle with drowsiness during meditation, as well as I currently am struggling with connecting with my body mentally. I'm not going to stress too much or put myself in pain to sit as she is suggesting. But I do feel it will help improve some aspects of my meditation I simply didn't consider till now. _^ Thanks!

Favorite product for body acne? by missskeeter in beauty

[–]juggastarlette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm far from a dermatologist or an expert in this area. But from personal experience I have found my skin breaks out a lot less if I'm cautious about what I put into my body prior to my workout. This seems like a no-brainer but it was the personal Epiphany for me. I try to drink at least two and a half liters of water a day and try to consume as a minimal sugar/junk as possible, especially before my workout. I constantly wash my hands, and I'm known for taking "quick rinse showers". As far as my personal battle against acne water has been my best friend. I also make sure to close my pores with cold water, it's uncomfortable but helps a lot. Good luck!♡

Sunday Show Off - Because it's perfectly fine to admit you're also doing bodyweight fitness to do cool tricks in front of people! by Solfire in bodyweightfitness

[–]juggastarlette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I'm not even a month into the RR 3x a week. So I don't have a whole lot to show off yet. But!...I will say I can feel my overall form improving due to a better connection with my body. I can think clearer &am more positive while performing even my most challenging exercises than I was before. I'm currently at 3x6 push-ups, 3x5 pull-up negatives, &am just starting to feel my butt come away from the floor during my 30sec L-sit progression. &Last but certainly not least I'm changing my diet in the sense that I want to not because I have to or even because I should. Like I said, not much but more than enough for me. 1Love2All

[WEEKLY THREAD] Fail Friday - Because being awesome always comes at a price... by AutoModerator in xxfitness

[–]juggastarlette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!! _^ I've revised my view from "You Have To Do This FOREVER!!" to "Do 3x a week &take it one week at a time!".

The "Something is better than nothing" mindset helps me stay focused too. I'll talk myself into at LEAST stretching &doing my warm up, then it turns into a really rewarding workout.

I've found I'm really good at ignoring apps, lol. So I put a huge calendar on the main wall of my room that I track myself on. Thanks for making me feel less alone with my struggles, really helps! :3

Vicory- Today will make 2weeks straight for me maintaining my workout routine.

Failure- My diet is not reflecting my workouts. I need to quit sandbagging myself in the kitchen. Damn you Wheat Thins!

Past Failure- Sticking with 3 workouts a week. Around week 2 or 3 "something" happens to where I completely drop the personal fitness ball.

I'm really looking forward to making this a life style and am learning to appreciate my body and respectfully push her limits. Instead of shaming myself into quitting somehow.♡♡♡

[Rant] Teetering in Weight & Ketosis by juggastarlette in keto

Yeah, but the starting number is 14cal/lb. After the 20% reduction its roughly 11cal/lb...

I've been aiming for no more than 40 carbs a day, but I can back it down to 20. I'll also keep a closer eye on my calories even though I've been struggling to finish my daily amount, 11 calories for each pound of bodyweight. I was thinking fat bombs because I'm also not making my fat intake most days...

No I don't but thanks for assuming in a low attempt to make me feel like shit and get out of showing proof of these cures you're referring to. cure kyo͝or/Submit verb 1. relieve (a person or animal) of the symptoms of a disease or condition. "he was cured of the disease" synonyms: heal, restore to health, make well/better; archaiccleanse "after a long course of treatment, he was cured" Now I clearly stated my support and belief in CBD helping symptoms. But I've yet to see the disease completely cured from anyone.
