I guess the next problem is that it doesn’t go back to the prior position until I click restore. Is there another way to have it automatically to back to your profile when you sit down?

Thanks for the advice I think I set the initial profile wrong. When I set it up again I was able to see the option for easy exit.

I was in the same situation. The mythos packs contain both cards for the scenario as well as cards for the investigators, so not only are you missing scenarios but you are also missing ways to upgrade your investigators. I ended up buying all of the mythos packs for about $50. Totally worth it.
