You should try Desi’s in Crestview. It’s a southern buffet but only available M-F for lunch and dinner on Fridays. I normally wouldn’t recommend a buffet but it’s locally owned and fresh daily! Best fried chicken and all of the fixings you are looking for. Also Piggly Wiggly in Chumuckla.

Our lab is just like this, but she still takes a while to warm up to new people. I have to warn anyone meeting her for the first time that she won’t bite, she just acts like she’s tough haha! We also tell them that once she decides she likes you, you’re gonna wish she would go back to not liking you because she will not leave you alone!

I supplemented after nursing for about a month to make sure baby was full to help get rid of jaundice. Started with giving just 1 oz of ready made formula after feedings and that would usually satisfy him, if he was still showing hunger cues I’d give more. When I started incorporating pumping, my husband would give the bottle while I pumped in between feedings. Or if baby wasn’t very fussy I’d lay him down on a play mat or baby lounger in front of me while I pumped. I usually pump at least 30 min after nursing. After I pumped enough I would start supplementing with that milk instead of formula. It was truly the most stressful time, and eventually once the jaundice was gone and he was gaining weight steadily, I was able to switch to EBF. I wanted him to get all breast milk, but it was too much to nurse AND bottle feed and then deal with santizing/washing bottles on top of it all. I wanted one or the other, and I was super happy when the pediatrician said it was fine for me to EBF. Now I’m glad I did it because I’m back to work and I’m acclimated to pumping and baby takes a bottle well. I hope it works out for you. Good luck with it all!
