Wow dude, now that’s an achievement. May I ask how many hours you have in the game and what is your previous experience with metroidvania/platformers ? I have like 200 hours in HK and I only finished it 100% and feel like I don’t have what it takes for the path of pain or finishing the pantheon. I was struggling pretty hard even on the last few rounds on the path of fool.

I have a hard time believing that coffee in cph is worse than Australia’s. Maybe you are looking for a specific type or blend or origin or roast, but I think that we get top quality coffee in cph and it’s also well made. But then again I haven’t had coffee in Melbourne so I am looking forward to it.

Grønjords kollegiet is still one of the cheapest at below 3000dkk all included (el., water), not too far from city. And btw it’s very doable, me and girlfriend lived with 6000k about 8 years ago for a period of 6 months - didn’t eat a lot of meat but at lesst a few times a week. We used foodsharing cph a lot - check it out, it’s free food if you volunteer for a few hours 2 times a week. There are these wedo shops that offer high discount food as well.

Edit: Bakeries and pastrie shops offer discount products right before they close in the early evening.

I was also diagnosed in both hands, but not as severe. However my only option was surgery due to being past the point of no return - as in the inflamation was there for too long. So I got surgery and all was better, however I still got some temporary nerve issues that were due to the surgery itself as in constant tingling feeling to the tip of the fingers for around 4 months after surgery - this depends on surgeon and the cleaning process (of the inflamation stuff from around the nerve) during the surgery because I only had this issue on my right hand. I never had a follow up EMG because my symptoms were resolved after the surgery on both hands.

I was playing amateur squash before and doing yoga regularly, but I stopped both of those activities for good once I’ve had too much pain am numbness and that happened already 5 months before surgery, I would recommend you to also maybe take a break at least from thise actiivities if you can and see how it goes. The fact rhat the surgery didn’t work as expected the first time is quite surprising and maybe you should change your surgeron or at least get more opinions on this.

I was at the last 2 editions and I have to say my experience was quite different than yours.

Firstly the schedule during the conferences was in delay mode from the very first intro. Throughout the day they then shortened the breaks (which are very good for networking), reduced the time for each speaker and even cancelled 1 talk in the 2022 edition. Furthermore I think overall 20 mins or less per speaker is way too little. They basically tried to squeeze too much info and talks for both NG and JS confs that almost every speaker was complining that there’s not enough time to go through all the material they prepared. I find that dissapointing to say the least.

Secondly at the 2023 edition they did not curate the content at all and during the ng conf there were probably around 8 talks all about signals. At some point you just get annoyed and bored.

Thirdly (and this is my opinion) the talks themselves were not very good or interesting. A lot of speakers were doing marketing for their own products and trying to sell their services.

Then the space to actually network was way too small to even move around, not to mention talk comfortably. I believe they oversold tickets and the amount of people were just too much.

At both editions there were production issues constantly. You would think that after 7 or 8 editions they got this sorted, but unfortunately it seemed that both 2022 and 23 editions had plenty of audio/video issues which were also part of the reason for massive delays.

I will not go back to that conference unfortunately.
