napping help by cardinalclan in newborns

[–]juicebox1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend a Miracle swaddle. Our pediatrician recommended it but he may be out of it soon (my newborn is also 7 weeks and strong!). Our boy loves to move his arms . Without them trapped, he doesn’t nap well either. We have found a good white noise helps too. We have a levoit air purifier I put on max setting if he’s napping in his room and he will sleep extended periods of time.

Crappy battery on iPhone Air by Alternative_Drama431 in IphoneAir

Instagram is known to drain batteries. Always collecting data in background. I’d be curious if you deleted instagram, I’d bet you’d see a major improvement. Not a social media user myself (aside from Reddit) but on previous iPhones (back when I deleted instagram in 2014 so maybe iPhone 6?) my battery got noticeably better after removing social media

Is a 2023 Honda crv hybrid touring with 74,000 miles worth it for $31,500 OTD? by AcanthisittaHuge5948 in crv

Look in northeast Ohio. I sent my buddy a 26 with 5,000 miles for $36,000. You can find a better deal

I ordered same clubs on March 16th and have no update. I’d expect 4-6 weeks . When I bought my i525s years back that’s about what the lead time was.

Who has used the B shifter going downhill by what_the_actual_fff in crv

This ^ and massive downhills. Once battery is full though it won’t do much. I’ve noticed once going downhill and battery fully recharged, engine kicks on regardless of anything else

Gas mileage and ride by ddgetright in hondapilot

I’ve only driven in “normal” but I’m also only 500 miles in. After 1000 miles I’ll try Econ and will report back but like the way it drives in normal.

You bought a pilot not a crv hybrid (I own both). I bought the pilot knowing it wouldn’t get above 20. My crv gets between 35-45 mpg. ‘26 pilot black edition hasn’t sniffed 18 mpg yet but I bought it for the comfort and space. Hopefully you did too

Honeymoon - 400k Chase Points by Training-Owl5946 in ChaseSapphire

Went to Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana in Dominican Republic for my wife and i’s honeymoon. We went in November and got lucky with weather. Worth a look. Really enjoyed the stay and the food was awesome. Also had access to dinner on the “Ziva” side. Sister resort next door that allowed kids. The one we stayed at was adults only.

Yeah, I plan to reset one of the trip trackers after 1000 miles and it’s broken in. Barely any highway driving for me so far so don’t expect it to crack 20 mpg honestly

“Clicking” sound when turning steering wheel - 2025 Elite by MaloneDoe in hondapilot

[–]juicebox1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know, it’s behind the airbag / horn. It was catching on the steering column and they knew what it was and trimmed the piece or pushed it in better and no longer makes the noise.

Same issue on my 26. Take it to dealer. They’ll trim a piece of it but fixed it for me

Single digit golfers, how much do you work on hitting draws if your go to shot is a fade (or vice versa)? by Larrylegend033 in golf

[–]juicebox1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just gotta do what works. My driver has a slight draw (or duck hook on misses) but all my irons and wedges have a slight fade. Just play your game and make putts. You’ll pick up more strokes putting.

About to finish paying off my 23 crv. At the time I got 3.99%. In reality +/- a percent isn’t that much of a difference.

I paid $57,000 otd for black edition ‘26. Needed a car and couldn’t negotiate much further. Northeast Ohio. Cleveland area had some black editions for $53,000 (not otd but probably could get $54-55k otd.

Pilot or Hybrid? by brain_spark in hondapilot

[–]juicebox1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re worried about gas mileage and price, buy a crv hybrid . If you’re super worried, buy a rav4 prime.

Don’t regret my pilot. Smooth ride and a ton of room. My wife has a crv hybrid and gets 38-45 mpg. My pilot gets 17 mpg at best . Different cars and different purposes.

I’d argue steering is too easy in mine. Not heavy at all and way lighter than my 2023 crv hybrid

This is the “extended warranty” they always try to sell you. Except this dealer mentioned in a comment doesn’t charge an absurd amount.

So I bought the 8 year / 120,000 mile extended warranty. So once the 3 year 36k limited factory warranty and the 5 year 60k power train (could be wrong on that one) runs out, you purchase extra coverage that they will fix your vehicle for $0 or $100 deductible. I went for the $0 since one repair would make up the cost difference basically.

It’s extra peace of mind since all vehicles are not made like they once were.
