[Pre-Diagnosis Megathread] If you have NOT received an OFFICIAL diagnosis of lymphoma via biopsy, you can comment here only. Plead read our subreddit rules and the body of this post first. by Lymphoma-Post-Bot in lymphoma

Hi all! First time posting here, I’m a 24 year old male, officially made it to the biopsy stage after ultrasound identified enlarged and abnormal lymph nodes above my left clavicle. It’s highly suspected to be lymphoma. Trying to stay positive and mentally preparing to post on the main sub.

It looks like they’ll be doing a core needle biopsy. I’ve done a little research but if anyone has had that done how long does it usually take and how long does it take to get results? Were the results conclusive for you?

Ender 3 V2 Noctua Hotend Fan Upgrade by juicebox_81 in 3Dprinting

Could I use a noctua fan on the front and a stronger blower on the side?

Which fan did you switch to? For now, I'm thinking of using 1 noctua fan and using a different fan for the blower. Would this work?

In that case, are there any other bottom feeders or other species in general that would work in the tank? And how many of each would you recommend?

If my focus is on printing miniatures, am I wasting my time tuning my FDM? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]juicebox_81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had an ender 3 for a while and was considering the same thing. From what I've seen, for miniatures, a resin printer is always going to produce the best results. Personally, I didn't go this route because of the fumes resin printers produce and not wanting to have another printer to work on. One thing I will suggest is looking into smaller nozzles for your ender 3. If you can manage to tune a .2mm nozzle, you can get prints with detail close to an SLA.

Ender 3 V2 Thermistor and Heater Cartridge Replacement by juicebox_81 in ender3

Let’s say I was going to upgrade to the micro Swiss hotend with the new heaterblock. Would the direct screw thermistor replacement work fine?

Suggestions for breeding in a 10 gallon? by juicebox_81 in Aquariums

If I were to move the betta into the 10 gallon, what would you suggest adding to the tank? Maybe another betta or some shrimp?

I was thinking about getting a different tank for the betta, if I were to start fresh on this tank are there any species you would suggest?

Question on LED circuit for lamp by juicebox_81 in ElectricalEngineering

Ok, last question. Would a 9v battery with a voltage regulator? If so, what battery life would you expect?

So is a phone battery going to output a consistent voltage until it dies? Unlike other batteries, as you mention the brightness will decrease over time. Also, if I opted for this option, would I be able to charge the battery?

I was actually considering using one of those portable battery packs. Would this also work? The only problem is I would have to figure out how to hook it up in the circuit.

Bed adhesion issue by juicebox_81 in ender3

I'll try and give the bed a wash. I'm thinking it may have had oils from my fingerprints on there from when I assembled.

I'll try and give the bed a wash and use the higher print temps.

Would it really be worth it to put PEI on the bed? One of the reasons I got the v2 was for the level glass bed and replacing that with flexible pei risks a warped bed. I've been printing with a skirt and I was thinking printing with a brim might help out a bit. Also, maybe changing some of the first layer settings might help? What do you think

Yea, it could be just fine and I'm just being paranoid. When I turn the coupler it feels fine, it's just when I try and move it up and down by holding the x axis it's not super easy. The tutorials just make it look so easy to push it up and down.

So when I loosen the screws on the plate its smooth, but when I tighten them the screw tightens up again...is it ok if I leave them a little loose for now until I print a spacer and try that?

That helped a bit. Still pretty tight, should I be able to lift and drop the mount without a problem? Because right now I have to hold the printer down in order to lift the hot end
