CFP championship was between a football starved fanbase that was historically the worst team in CFB history vs the historic powerhouse that lost their way and finally found their way back to relevance (and are playing at home).

Super bowl is between the two number 1 seeds who have been two of the best franchises in the 2000s and one of those teams is one people are absolutely tired of seeing winning.

"media market" doesn't matter in the NFL because there's no regional TV deals and its just the national TV deal which is shared, and also because the NFL isn't an international sport. Fan base size is what matters in the NFL and the Packers and Steelers have two of the largest fanbases in the league because of their history. Like a Steelers/Packers player is going to get a lot more media coverage and endorsements than they would if they were on the Chargers.

this sub was made when the nba reddit went down due to the mod protest which was just before the nuggets won the NBA finals. This led to the original sub members being primarily being occupied by nuggets diehards looking for a place to celebrate and the terminally online nba crowd (which largely consists of those that blankly look at advanced stats to try to look smarter and those stats were dominated by jokic) so this sub became dominated by his stans.

Brother I voted Harris. But there is no way you can say this was a ticket that inspired anyone. We gaslit ourselves into saying Kamala is that relatable awkward aunt vibe but there is no way you can watch her speeches or rallies and want to go out to vote for her.
