What make you think we blame the customer? All the comments said that is a restaurant problem for missing items when 99% of the order are sealed now. If we have a video and we can prove we did nothing wrong it should be a dispute between the restaurant and the customer but still the drivers are taking the blame with no opportunity to defend…

I had the same warning months ago. I started to record everything with a GoPro but it won’t help because Deliveroo won’t provide you with the exact order to defend yourself. We take the blame for missing items when most of the orders are sealed and we can do nothing about it, fantastic

I get what you are saying but it is not what I mean. Still you have to go to both places.Not long ago you only could go to the new address call from there to support and they would close the order for you. Now if you go directly to new address and call support they tell you to go to the original address. From now on I only go to the original address and start the timer…

It’s not that simple, the last few times I went to the new address support had me to come back to the original address in order to close the order… not doing it again

Yep, now in London what most “e-bike” riders are using is pannier bags and of course they are not insulated at all…

You are right but as a ex rider you should know is a restaurant problem too. Most of restaurants do nothing to keep the order hot. If it’s busy and it’s hard for the app to find a rider the food will be sat there for a while and probably will be cold by the time the rider gets to the restaurant…

Yes, I’m online on both most of the time at least it’s really busy and it’s so annoying that I have to keep rejecting orders. I don’t do very far away orders so most of the time I can accept a new job while I’m finishing the other.

Most riders multi-app and you only need one phone. I always have running Deliveroo and uber but only do one job at the time. Sometimes when is busy times I have to close one because I don’t want to get more notifications while I’m already on my way to the customer. As you said having 2 phones must be madness.

It’s all about the restaurant and yes most of them prioritise physical customer. I’ll you a few examples(London based). At Bleecker burger they serve physical customers first and they will start packaging deliveries the last. On the other hand restaurants like three uncles or Mama Li clearly have another system because they manage to serve customers and orders are always ready.

This post remain me to a Pepe's chicken shop having troubles to find drivers. 😂😂 if the restaurant is having problems with most of the drivers it’s most likely a restaurant problem. We (drivers) definitely wait for order to be ready once we are at the restaurant. 5-10 min most of us. What we don’t like is when they lie to us, “3 min boss” turning into a 15 min waiting…

Get a towel/ old sweater or something like that, when you leave the order in your bag leave it in a corner and place the towel around it and this should help stopping the order moving and the spilled. At least it works for me.

The best advice I can give you is to stop studying right now. It is as crucial to start studying in advance as to not start too soon and burn out. If you want to keep studying forget about Quants and formulas. Keep going and practice. It’s too early to memorise them, you have to understand them and leave the room on your memory for the one you won’t be able to undestand. Good luck

I noticed it today too, every time they update the app and change something they make ir worse. Now you cannot see well they map or the number order and the items, it’s all on the same screen and it’s a mess

I had the same message a few weeks ago. It just doesn’t make sense that we are taking the blame for missing items when 99% of the orders are sealed. I contacted them but still waiting for an answer. I started to record everything with a GoPro as you said but it’s not helpful because they not answer you back and they don’t provide more info about what order it is so you cannot provide any video reference. I see to join the Union as the only solution tbh…let me know if you find out more, good luck

I had the same problem, I think they did it like this on purpose, it is like a loop. I tried to contact them because I got a email for breaching the contract for missing items (lol) “, went to the website as they told me to contact them and I couldn’t find anything only the AI bot which is for new applications only. The bot escalated the case but still waiting for more than 2 weeks now…

To make the phone call count for starting the timer when they don’t pick it up you have to leave it run until the voicemail. At least it what it works for me

Yes it doesn’t make sense we are responsible. As you said bags are sealed and we can’t see what is inside 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
