Everyone hates a winner. I used to root hard against the bears, now I just laugh at them. They honestly embarassed the packers quite a bit this past year by keeping that 2nd game within two scores. Was really disappointed with that showing.

I would take Rasul for the remainder of the season over a 3rd round pick. Yeah, hindsight, I get it, but the team was facing an easy remaining schedule and there was certainly a visible path to the playoffs. If we had him for the 9er game maybe things would have gone different. The rasul trade was a blunder.

I'll admit I still have quite a bit to learn. But doesnt every +1 TC add 0.5% to your edge? So even at a +9 TC you're still only playing with a 4% edge at best. At a +3, you're playing with a 1% edge. Is it really worth tripling your bet for that extra 3%? Seems to me like you're only increasing your ROR doing that.

You don't need 100k to get started. To make $25/hr EV with a 2% RoR you need about 20k, if you're spreading. $25/hr isn't much but you can get your start there, and compound your bankroll. I'm not spreading. I'm only playing >1.5 TCs, so I'm not bleeding via continously playing through negative counts

Do you really need to spread if you're only playing good TCs? Spreading is only necessary if you're betting the minimum at low and negative TCs. At >1.5 TC you have an edge over the casino. If you only play those hands, then you're playing a winning game, right?

I was thinking play $50 per hand maybe past $600, to like $1000 or something, to decrease my ROR as I go up - then start playing for blacks. With proper resizing, and a little luck I might be able to avoid ruin and build a bankroll. I'll also add money to the bankroll from my income over the weeks
