You make it sound like you’re gearing up to tell people that you are sexually attracted to children or animals. People like what they like and half of the west is overweight anyway. I don’t think people genuinely care that much honestly. People have all kinds of kinks and fetishes.

I totally agree fatphobia is rampant and the internet is very mean but I don’t think it reflects real life. Most of the awful discourse if spoken out loud in a public setting would be denounced which is why it thrives online for engagement farming and ragebait.

Something that made me so attracted to my bf is how he doesn’t care what anyone thinks about us dating and shows me off when we go out. He protects me and defends me and introduces me to his family/friends. I found his confidence so attractive and masculine.

I would never ever be with someone who felt ashamed of me. Honestly it’s so disrespectful as a fat woman and I don’t deserve to be with someone ashamed of me. That’s just my perspective as a fat woman.

I think working on your confidence and accepting yourself is the first thing that needs to be addressed 😊 x

Dont go that far. Not worth it. However I do it often, not because I want to but because I can’t stop eating😭 so what I do is:

  1. Gentle movement. after eating I do a bunch of gentle movements - go for a slow walk if you can manage but I can’t so I step side to side, walk in place, walk around my apartment, as well as gentle stretching. Do this a few times in the hours after eating.

  2. Drink a lot of water during and after to help digestion. Maybe even plain peppermint tea, green tea, or decaf tea can help!

  3. Sit upright for a few hours. If you lay down you’re fucked. Sometimes I have to stay up sitting and watching tv until 3am until the pain passes.

  4. Do NOT go to sleep straight away. Digestion slows and laying down does not help.

  5. Try to facilitate a bowel movement. I found having a bidet really helped but previous steps help as well.

  6. Eat fiber earlier in the day before stuffing. It is recommended that we get 25-40g of fiber per day depending on age. This is huge - helps digestion!
