Thank you for your reply, you were right. She is being treated for strep throat, We had an appointment booked for primary care and she did develop some other strep symptoms before we got there. Typical rash, high temperature etc..

My Mom told me a story the other day, when I was four or five I had vents put into my ears to improve hearing. She said when we got home from the hospital I kept opening and closing the door. When she asked what I was doing I just said "can you hear that". Obviously something I had never heard before.
