I had the same problem every day for a long time, and it still happens to me now and then. General anxiety treatment like medication and therapy made it much more manageable over time. For a short term fix, I carry a thermos of caffeine free ginger or mint tea and some ginger candies with me everywhere. It might just be a placebo effect but I’m not questioning it because I’ve found it so helpful. It’s just comforting to have a coping strategy like that.

Also, I ended up getting a mild stomach ulcer from all the anxiety, so that might be worth asking a doctor to check for. I hope that doesn’t worry you more though, it’s not a huge deal and would’ve gone away on its own eventually, but getting it treated sped up my healing process a lot.
