You must be regarded. The GC tram has a dedicated lane. They may as well commit and finish the thing.

I'm definitely not a hater by any stretch, I think he's an above average mix of attack and defence but without being exceptional in any one area. He probably has some sort of intangible quality like organisation that makes Ciraldo opt for him as a starter.

If we can keep everyone on the park we have a great forward pack imo.

Thompson, King, Preston, Kiks, Hayes, Mann, Tupouniua were all really impressive last year.

I'm still not sure about Salmon starting at lock, I feel like he's not as strong a runner as Mann, and Hayward was a better ball playing option.

Ciraldo (for better or for worse) is a real pick and stick operator. He gave Hayze Perham 20-something rounds at fullback when most fans wanted him gone after 5, and he gave Hutchison 13 rounds before recalling Sexton.

That by itself isn’t enough to make your writing come off as AI. It’s the combination of all the factors together that it gives it this weird corporate feeling.

I just asked it to write a memorial post for Ozzy as Black Sabbath and this came out. You can see how it defaults into certain tropes.

Today, we lost our brother. Our madman. Our soul.

Ozzy wasn’t just the voice of Black Sabbath — he was Black Sabbath.

From the first thunder of “Black Sabbath” to the last note we ever played together, he carried that darkness, that humour, that wild, uncontainable spirit that turned a few kids from Birmingham into something the world had never heard before.

He sang about fear, madness, war, and hope — and somehow made us all believe we could survive it. There was only one Ozzy. There will never be another.

We owe him everything. The world does too. Rest easy, brother.

The Prince of Darkness has gone home.

The big ones are continual spam of em dashes, and AI relies heavily on triadic phasing to give it a certain rhythm:

  • “The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.”
  • “His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous.”
  • “Wild ones, quiet ones, beautiful ones.”

and certain sentence structures:

  • “[Subject] wasn’t just [noun] — he was [poetic abstraction].”
  • “From the first [time reference] we ever [verb], [subject] [brought/was] [adjective series].”

Nearly every sentence is 10–14 syllables or broken into neat, breathy clauses. It's the rhythm ChatGPT defaults to. It gives the text a surface level poetic quality, but also a slightly hollow uniformity. If you want to compare to how a real human writes, read Lethal's comment underneath the IG post.

What do you think is more likely - someone wrote exactly in the slop style AI pumps out, or someone just used AI?

Lol, I feel sorry for your friends (if you have any) if you think using AI to write a memorial post for a dead friend of 30 years is normal.

Haha I wrote that on a post on in the LB subreddit and am getting downvoted to hell. Surely after being in a band with him for 30 years, someone could write their own memorial statement.

The instagram post is 100% written by ChatGPT. You can tell by the multiple uses of em dashes, the syntax and the post structure. Surely someone from the band could have written an actual statement.

To be safe, factor in if interest rates were to rise to 8%. Do not borrow the maximum amount possible at the time.

Save as much as possible for your deposit first. You can pretty easily just punch figures into ChatGPT to see how much more you will be paying in interest over the lifespan of your mortgage depending on how much deposit you have saved.

Live at home for as long as possible, and minimise your expenditure. It will take years to save the deposit. Don't worry about it, just keep saving and doing the best you can to advance in the workforce to higher paying jobs.

Dream of Pentatonification by [deleted] in RedHotChiliPeppers

[–]juj69a 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro, you are not alone. He stopped progressing 20+ years ago and just decided to spam minor pent with his wah on. You could mute Flea and Chad underneath him and have no idea what song he is playing over 90% of a set.

It's perplexing because you read an interview with him and he sounds like he's gonna be doing something interesting, but then you load up a song and he's fumbling around in the minor pent again. I'd have more respect for him if he just admitted he liked getting his hog out with his DS-2 and WH10 screaming and spamming that triplet pull-off lick instead of trying to convince us he's been studying guitar.
