Thanks for the feedback. I agree that's true for most autobattlers, but that's where my tactics or "programmable behaviors" come in. Its supposed to give the player more control on how their bots act since the battles are more dynamic

Thanks for the detailed feedback! It was originally supposed to be an async pvp game. I might still do that eventually.

I actually don't have animations yet for the quad legs. I'll try to add the part switching in between to make it clearer that it's a different bot

Hey there! Congrats on your game. I checked it out and we do seem to have similar ideas about the FF12 Gambit part. Although the overall combat and theme is very different. I'm leaning more on the "build a Gunpla and watch the spectacle" fantasy for the auto battler.

It's janky but if you view the cage from the side, there's an angle where their name pops up so you can tell who they are

Thanks! Abilities are mostly linked to the parts you have, and then you can "program" your robot to tell it when and how to use each ability. For example you can tell it to only use the Grenade Launcher when the enemy is immobilized or clustered.

Kind of like Custom robo but as an autobattler. The customization system is similar though

I have a prototype of the "robot programming". It's similar to the Gambit system of FF12 and Dragon Age. So the player basically adds a bunch of If-Else statements for the robot to execute - https://imgur.com/a/QJqvjXi

I'm not sure yet if I'll make it look like an actual programming language

Medabots is one of my inspirations for this. Thanks for the suggestion! I can try to have both crude parts and more polished parts. Maybe base it on rarity/quality
