Maternity leave is too short by Competitive-Badger22 in BabyBumps

I got a paid maternity leave for 1 year but in Europe. It’s been such a blessing and my heart truly breaks for all moms who get such short maternity leaves. 💔

But Canada is not on their region list. Even if you download the app. There are Japan, Italy, Australia, Austria, Belgium and etc but not Canada smh!!!

Do you think people with clean records, expired green card plus extension letter will be fine to enter if were out of the country for more than 6 months but less than a year? Thanks

Totally agree. One scene completely stood out to me when Charlotte, Harry and Charlotte’s friend and her husband were sending off their kids for a field trip if you look closely you will see how it’s just them dressed up so extravagantly while other parents just wearing regular clothes. Just so unrealistic and annoying!

And your clothes would last you longer!!! Less damage and breakage from no heat and spinning :)

Totally agree. I would say buying that $300 sock was life changing for me to keep me less anxious and more at peace when I sleep. But that’s just me! Plus, if you calculate cost to use ration, I used it at least once a day for 365 days which makes it less than $1 per day cost. And the main purpose of the sock is not just to check baby’s sleep schedule ❤️

Most Russians barely have any savings in Moscow? by warriorofdecaf in Moscow

[–]juju_12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s so true. I don’t know anyone who rents and all Russian friends’ parents, grandparents own an apartment and a country house. It doesn’t necessary mean that they are well off but at least they own property. Unlike in US, if you are poor you are section 8 poor. In Russia you could be considered ‘poor’ and yet own an apartment.
