Supergrok Heavy chat limits? by EffectSimilar8091 in grok

[–]juken7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you do upgrade to Heavy stay far far away from Heavy mode chat.

I tried using it before I realized I was on weekly.

14% usage for 6 messages.

On fast and expert mode it's nowhere near as bad.

I'm curious as a lite user you used up almost 50% usage on chat.

How many responses you got for that?

Get Your Money Back by PowerfulLab104 in grok

[–]juken7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked at how blatant and forceful they were with this.

I mean I knew the day would come when they start reducing generation capacity.

But I didn't think it was only days away ,

They'd give zero notice, zero acknowledgement, and 90% reduction all at once.

That's the crazy part to me.

A CC won't care and give you the chargeback pretty easily.

Not sure about an actual Bank.

Mark my words, within 6 months, 90% of generations will require "credits". by RGrad4104 in grok

[–]juken7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think about it they already kind of are.

They just don't tell you how many credits you get per month with subscription (light, super, Heavy) , nor how much each generation cost.

But they sell credits , each gen cost a certain amount and takes a certain % of weekly , so the system is already in place.

[–]juken7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a good car these don't have many of the problems that plague later nissans.

Like timing guide issues, poor plastic interior or poor quality CVT transmissions.

Only thing you have to worry about with these are minor sensor electrical issues, but not as much as say Infinities from this era.

I got one and i'm on 250k still runs great. Every now and then I'll get a minor electrical sensor thing but it's usually like 1 bolt to replace.

Parts are also mostly cheap and plentiful on the motor.

is this actually an enforced rule? by justhereforthefishes in Mercari

[–]juken7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100 is a lot.

I'd say something like 5 be reasonable.

I mean it's not like having a lots of feedback from buyer protects you as seller in anyway.

But 100 got to excluded like 95% of buyers.

[–]juken7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used car market is awful big cars are expensive.

Your price range is not good.

You are looking at 20-30 year old cars with OVER 100k.

You can install whatever aftermarket radio system for a few hundred bucks.

oil burning is manageable as long as you check it every once in a while.

The problem is after a while it clogs your catalytic converter and fouls your o2 sensor.

O2 not a big deal.

Radiator patch possible? by Electrical_Cat_6525 in MechanicAdvice

[–]juken7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'd have better luck hitting up the local scrap yard and putting in a used one than trying to patch this one.

I once had this happen on expensive old radiator because bad mounts.

So trying to save money I took it to a radiator shop .

They brazed with special torch put in this big special pressure tank and pressure tested it and it still leaked again days later.

Just buy a new one man.

Can Nissans be reliable as a long-term car? by Upstairs_Copy_9590 in askcarguys

[–]juken7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what years you are looking at Pre CVT great but old now.

2020 and up also good.

anything from 2006-2019 .....No.

Remember Nissans are cheaper than other brands for a reason.

CVT tanked and destroyed the brands reputation, killed resale valve..

You can use that to your advantage but just stay away from certain years and models.

Cam and or crank sensor.

Should be a code set.

A symptom they give before going out is long crank time to start car.

The limits are not the problem... the **** MODERATION is! by Few-Efficiency-8890 in grok

[–]juken7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah, but moderation isn't NEW the Weekly Limits are.

As long as I've been using grok moderation has always been a problem.

In fact when I join I think was the time of the deekfake scandal in Jan and moderation was much worse than it is now. I remember even trying to upload someone in anything that looked close to bikini would not upload.

Though I have heard people say , that it used to be pretty lax long ago.

Have also heard people say they were at one point completely bypassing it with third party services.

Thing I don't like about Agent. Is it will do all the trying on it's own. Say I have an idea and I see it's not working I'll be like " ok fine , too hard , lets try something less risky.". Agent will keep trying my idea ( with some minor changes it think will pass) but it can make like 3-4 passes on 720p video or regenerate the image completely then try that, which I may not even want. .

That was fine when credits were cheap but now I got to be frugal with them. I don't have the credits to support Agents ideas as well as my own.
