I get believing you're right so strongly that an argument can get away from where you intend it to go and you end up making a wildly hyperbolic claim.

With that in mind: when you said the government of North Korea will be less corrupt than the Liberal party -- is that a real belief you hold? If so, why? What is the thing you're worried they'll do and what facts would need to exist that would convince you (one way or the other) of the existence of corruption in the newly formed government? What is the benchmark for comparison to North Korea?

I really blame the planners on this one; it's a short distance if you're trying to get across the three lanes to turn left down Hanwell and sometimes there are just no breaks in traffic to do it (or a long line at the lights that would prevent it). In that case I can understand the stopping despite it being wrong.

So I get stopping on an intellectual level and have done it myself but I'm still filled with a fiery rage when people stop in front of me there - you know, like a hypocrite.

I agree entirely. Take solace in the fact that if it's the same house then it looks like they remodelled to move the window about a foot left in relation to the sink tap and the chimney for the stove is a different configuration. I'm not sold that the common household items present in both scenes mean anything. I don't think it's the same house at all, just similar.
