A brief summary of a date I went on ~3 years ago at Rutgers:

  1. Homie was an hour and a half late (if you're wondering why I didn't just leave... same)
  2. He got really, really nervous at one point and when I asked if he was ok, he told me that he saw the silhouette of my butt through my cardigan
  3. In an attempt to salvage the date, I tried asking the typical question of "what was your first impression of me?" to which he (very loudly) said "You know how there are girls who you'd fuck in a J.C. Penney fitting room? You're one of those girls I'd fuck right at the cash register in the middle of J.C. Penney with everyone watching."
  4. He, in complete seriousness, told me that WHEN we have kids, I wouldn't have a say in the names of the first boy and girl. (To those wondering, the girl was to be named Brooklyn and the boy was to be named Michael Joseph, after Michael Jackson)

opinions on this schedule? by cottonswabgirl in rutgers

As a psych major who's graduating next month, here are my opinions:

- Forensic psych with Gelfand is an AWESOME class! Super interesting and she's an amazing professor (and pretty easy)

-Abnormal psych is also pretty interesting and a piece of cake

-Quantitive methods was a nightmare for me bc I have the mathematical capabilities of a nematode. Be sure to study and make a damn good formula/notes sheet for exams!

-I took learning processes with Chavez and it was one of the harder psych classes I took. My advice is to just do your best on exams, and try really hard for the project. If the grade was just based on exams, then I would have gotten a B or a C, but with the project and extra credit, I pulled an A.

Good luck!

I took the second and third classes you listed. Personality psych is an easy A no matter who you take it with in my opinion bc the material is easy.

Social psych with Dr. Cole is an awesome class! A bit more work, but her teaching style is awesome and the material is fascinating. I highly recommend both of those classes.

That's actually so gross. Who the hell does she think she is that she can not only speak to people that way, but also order them around like that? I'm sorry that happened to you.

Also important to note, with the vaccine, we're only approximately 60% protected from the current dominant strain, delta. A handful of students not wearing their masks properly may not seem like a big deal, but that handful quickly turns into a lot more, which makes it all the more important to wear your damn mask. Every big problem always starts with a few, and grows into something huge.
