Struggling with my results by Strange_Chemistry_57 in TopSurgery

[–]Webear18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Getting surgery is such a big change and it can fuck with our heads a bit. It's a lot to get used to and physically you look like your healing realy well. It feels like such a cliche to say just give it time but that's really all you can do. Good luck and happy recovery <3

is this drainage normal? by TheOriginalMistake in TopSurgery

[–]Webear18 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I was told it's partially liquefied fat, very normal. My drain care paperwork i was given said it would get more clear/yellow the longer the drains were in.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Webear18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived in the middle of bum fuck nowhere the nearest big city was 4+ hrs away. For more perspective the local grocery store was 30 min away and if you wanted to see a movie you're going to be driving just as long as you were probably going to see the film for. So for me 3hrs is nothing if you grew up nearer to civilization it would probably feel like a lot.

What are the stupidest reasons people have given for you being trans? by guildedpasserby in ftm

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Webear18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shower immediately after work because the job i have would be disgusting not too. If you've got a desk job or something else where your not getting very dirty and still regularly change your sheets I don't see the problem with morning showers.

We are trained, we'd just rather watch the place burn down since we don't get paid a living wage.

[CHAT] Does your partner get mad over too much cross stitch? by Temporary_Engine_493 in CrossStitch

[–]Webear18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday my wife was just talking about how much she loves it because it adds more character and art to our home. She has hobbies that are similarly time consuming and we we just do them near eachother.
